Is that really the crysis 2 beta. If it is then sorry has to be killzone 3 all the way.

I can't really compare the graphics here due to the terrible quality but in terms of gameplay and the overall feel i have to say Killzone 3.

It just looks and feels so much more real then Crysis.
I think the game engine allows you to do more with the ps3 too.

Can we get enthusiest settings with DX11 on vs Killzone, comparing it on a console version doesnt do it justice

Killzone 3 wins both from a technical standpoint and art style. Art style is down to preference so try not to let your blood boil but from here it seems the engine used in killzone is still an animal. Maybe the next crysis on consoles will look better because they would of gained more experience.

I'm positive there will be more varied environments in k3. The guy hating above is just deflecting. From memory it would be out of character if he DIDNT hate or talk sh!t about something associated with sony so he's just doing him

I've seen both running(Crysis 2 on 360)and I was surprised how much better KZ3 looked.I thought Crysis would look better than it did but development techniques differ and some games come together late.Insomniac work like that.

honestly i think that the xbox held back crysis in the graphics. and thats my opinion! let the disagrees roll in, but i really think that this would be a much better looking game if it were a ps3 and pc only game.

Killzone 3 looks better at this stage, Crysis 2 on 360 underwhelms.

Graphics aside Crysis 2 is amazing, im in the 360 stress test and I can say for 360, PS3 and PC owners, you are in for one hell of a great FPS experience.

EDIT: Why am I getting disagress? I think KZ3 looks amazing im just saying that dont count Crysis 2 out in the game play department also if you own a PS3 you get to play 2 great FPS games, I dont see the problem with that.

The Crysis 2 MP BETA is an pre-alpha... And its stress test, not a real beta.

judging by THE vid... KZ by far.... I got to play them both (which I will) on mysetup for the final decision. If you watch the VIDS and think Crysis... just please stop and be honest

crysis 2 wins hands down with more colors on screen it doesn't have that sick dukey brown color and hideous gray color. I like KZ3 for all the action that happening on the screen at one time.

Never understood what everyone has against KZ's colours. They are on a war torn, industrial base, toxic planet. I don't really understand what color you want everything to be. Pink with green polka dot? Besides this is only one level we have been seeing. Let's wait until we actually see the game before we begin the usual gamer gripe and whine people do these days even before the game even comes out. Tired of the nothing can beat Crysis fanboy BS.

No one can compliment any game these days without tearing another down. You can just say Crysis looks good and KZ3 looks good for what they are.You have to say that one is crap and the other isn't. KZ3 looks great but no one is satisfied unless we admit that it is no match for Rage or Crysis or Halo or any other shooter. We PS3 owners really don't care. This only matters for insecure fanboys who can't play them all so they cling to the ones they can play. I actually thought it would be closer than that. Looks like Killzone 3 is the superior game by a good margin.

i think my real problem with Crysis (and a lot of games, honestly), is that the environments, while sporting excellent detail in textures, lack any sort of atmosphere.

look at the Killzone 3 (and 2, honestly) vids; you have all sorts of atmospheric effects going on at the same time as all the gunplay. snow, wind, debris, dust, etc, objects moving and swaying in the background. the world feels alive, and not like a map in a game of multi-player.

Crysis looks like an MP map to me. doesn't mean it won't be fun, but it does showcase that Guerrilla Games has an insane attention to detail, and a mastery of the PS3 hardware in order to get all of that detail into the game, and keep it running fluidly. screenshots never do games like Killzone 3, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 justice. it's seeing them in motion, with all cylinders churning away that really sets these games apart from their contemporaries.

Gratz Guerilla, amazing Studio and engine, love Decima!

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.

Need a killzone 2 remake from the ground up.

Great studio, loved the Killzone series, I wish they would do a remake of the first three games. Horizon is a real step up and truly put Guerrilla Games on the map.

Too bad I never got a chance to play Shellshock: Nam’67 would have loved to try that game out back in the days to see what were their beginnings.

Bring back killzone (maybe in 3rd person perspective)

It would fantastic to see what they could do in Killzone after the lessons learned through Horizon.

Or heck, give us even a short linear FPS from the people who designed Cauldron THETA in the Burning Shores expansion. Even just flying into it (after gliding around and finding its opening amongst the lava and Sunwings perched around it, with other bigger machines just along the path toward it) was an incredible experience.

Forbidden West is awesome, It’s pretty damn big compared to Zero Dawn and it takes a little while to get your skills up and get the equipment you need to fully explore the game (not going to spoil it) but once you do those things and start fighting the big ass machines it really is amazing. Some cool side quests to where you hold the fate of peoples lives by your choice and the cauldrons look amazing. Lots of skills , combos, special moves and add ons for your weapons so you can approach fights many ways. Looking forward to the name game but I wonder how/if Silas will be a part of it or not ? Sad he’s gone.

20 years of mid-tier games and they are trending down.

I'm hyped for whenever Horizon 3 releases but Killzone 1 needs a remake BAD and 2 & 3 need remasters. Criminal those games are stuck on PS3.

i really loved the atmosphere and idea of killzone. i hope they revisit it at some point because it always had so much potential.
