"The Ball could be considered as a rags to riches tale for the developers, Teotl Studios. Starting life as a mod for Unreal Tournament 3, the game quickly gained momentum as something special, entered into Epic's "Make Something Unreal" contest and subsequently walked away with second place and a tidy $40,000 prize. Tripwire Interactive saw the potential of this game and ushered Teotl Studios under their wing, having once been humble mod developers themselves, Tripwire have now published The Ball into an official standalone release."

It just so happens that your colleagues can’t rescue you anytime soon, so they suggest you do some exploring.
