Cheap downloadable game being put on a disc so they can charge much more for it.

Yi-Long5691d ago

... I'd rather have NBA Street v3 HD, or a new version of NBA Street.

This would be a total turnaround from what they announced.

If they try to sell this at full retail price, that's a slap in the face.

I'll wait to see what they sticker it at when it finally rolls out.

I'd get it if it was on XBL or PSN, but NO WAY is it worth full retail.

EDIT: This would be like if they sold Turtles in Time on disc.

FUUUUU EA.

This BETTER be like what Capcom did with MvC2 release a box with a code in it for the DLC price. You charge full price and you aren't getting my money.

Nice article. I would add Tecmo NBA Basketball for the NES to this list. I liked the focus on NBA Jam, though!

Thank you and I'll see what I can do.
I will do my best to add it later when I have time.

Electronic Arts Holiday Sale: Top Ten iPhone And iPad Games

Chris Buffa (Modojo): It appears publisher Electronic Arts is in the spirit of giving. Either that, or it wants to dominate the App Store charts.

Regardless of the company's true intentions, you'll be happy to know that all (and we mean ALL) EA published iPhone and iPad games are now $0.99 (or free) for a limited time, which gives you the perfect opportunity to capitalize on its best titles.

With this in mind, make sure you grab these ten games immediately.

Where Have All The Cheat Codes Gone?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

The famous "Konami Code", a string of simple commands almost every video game player knows by heart. Although it first debuted in the 1986 NES title, Gradius, the cheat gained notoriety for granting 30 lives in the NES version of Contra, a side scrolling title so difficult most players relied on the code to beat the game.
