Bioshock was pretty poor in its final boss, as was Lazarevic. I can't agree with the guy's statement of people criticising the end of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune where you were suddenly forced to change your gaming style. Pretty sure he pulled that one out of his arse.

What a joke of a boss!! So terrible!! I nearly cried considering how great the game had been until then. Also, Arkham Asylum was garbage too!!

The Resistance 2 boss was pretty lame

and I would also say Uncharted 1 cuz u meleed the guy 2 times I think and the rest was just a cut scene

Dracula at the end of Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest.

Life Force for the NES. Boss dies super quick and the next 2 minutes is an obstacle course, making the last boss pretty much...an obstacle course.

Dracula from Symphony of the Night (seriously that boss can be killed with 999999 ways without providing a challange oh and one of these ways take 5 seconds)

and final boss from Metroid: Zero Mission (seriously its the best metroid game ever but final boss is boring, single hit spot which is hard to hit AND protected most of the time and only takes damage with rocket, for short it was boring)

Gears of War 2 was a joke.
Good shouts on the Demon's Souls and Borderlands ones as well.

...the boss battle at the end of that game was dull, uninspired and easy as hell to beat.

I killed him in 1 hit ffs! And 1 hit for each of his Aeons too. Ok... I did 99,999 damage every hit, but still. Hastega, Quick hit, 99,999 damage for every one of my party members--Squeenix definitely could have made the final boss more challenging!

Ha I have to say most games I play have anticlimatic endings. Even if the game was amazing throughout the whole run, actually that is why the ending doesn't always measure up.

But I have to agree with most of you on the bosses.

i really think that RE5 as the most disapointing final battle of this gen.

Im hoping that DNF will show one of the best final boss battles ever.

The Joker was disappointing as well in Batman:AA felt like fighting those other brutes

Bioshock 2's final boss wasthe shit icing on a rotten cake.

The final boss in Army of Two was terrible. An absolute joke because yes, he was a cinematic. That is the failest thing.

I have to disagree with the Uncharted 2 claim. I must have spent two hours trying to beat him. It was pretty intense and had me shouting profanities for the neighbors to hear. And after I finally beat him, the sense of satisfaction I had was well worth the frustration.

I did think however the most disappointing boss should be The Old One in Demons Souls. That game was so damn hard that I was expecting to fight something that even the most experienced gamers couldn't fathom. Instead it was just a giant slug like thing that just bitched at you while you effortlessly shat all over it.
