As long as Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS comes to America I'm good since I have Tri for Wii....but I'm sure many players would like Tri G for their 3DS now...hopefully for you guys it will be announced @ E3. As for the PSP games......I very much doubt they will come here at this point and Capcom has more of a chance making profit on 3DS than on PSP......and well Vita isn't even part of the equation right now, unless you want to count the newly announced Monster Hunter puzzle game :/

Well, with the way they've been pissing off Western gamers, I'm not as sure of that as I once might have been. I've never had the opportunity to play MH, myself, though I've always been interested. But since Capcom has been such an... uncouth company in recent years, I've little to no interest in giving them my money.

Why not MH4?

This is hardly proof of anything, and if it is true it looks like a direct port or slight enhancement of an already available psp game(which obtained a lot of it's content from its wii predecessor.), which is an outdated version of a recently released 3ds game. That is hardly a system seller. Just look at the 3ds 3g: very good sales, but no where near p3rd level. This woul be essentially the same game a 4th time in a row, and 5th if you count tri on the wii.

Now, a rumor that actually has some merit was posted a few months ago, from an asian magazine claiming to break news on mhp3rd g for the psp, with vita compatibility.

I bet its portable 3rd to keep with the system association. Tri is a Wii game so its likely Tri G is on 3DS as a handheld tribute to that (if that makes sense). This is likely a similar thing only for Vita. An up-scaled remake with loads of extra content. Since 3rd is on both PSP and PS3.

MHP4.. How long are we going to be stuck with MHP3?

I want a Monster Hunter built for the Vita from ground up. No carrying content over from a different one other than some classic monsters and weapons of course. I've beaten Portable 2 and 2ndG on PSP and logged nearly 1000 hours into them.

I played 3rd and thought it was alright, but kind of a let down because even though the world was rebuilt, half the stuff came from Tri, so I spent like 120 hours in that before I was done haha. It seems like a lot as it rivals my Fallout 3 playtime, but I assure you that 500 hours in Monster Hunter is a frequent average.

If it's just an enhanced port of the PSP version, I doubt it will do a whole lot. Not only has the PSP version already sold millions and millions, but an HD version came to PS3 in August.

I think this would help the Vita, but not as much as MH3G helped the 3DS and not as much as MHP3 helped the PSP.
