DS writes, "Despite what you may have heard before now, Quantum Theory is in no manner a bad game. It is neither an excellent nor remarkable game, but it is certainly not a bad game. It is a third person shooter that is strikingly similar to another popular TPS franchise, but you’ve heard all that already.
What you haven’t heard is that this game presents a premise, story and ambiance that are unlike any shooter on the market. It’s got a better story than most shooters I would gamble. In understanding why this game is worth your time, you must evaluate all aspects of it.
“Humanity can evolve past its petty tendencies and I will make it do so. My methods themselves will live and grow as humanity grows. Long after I am gone, my legacy will shine brightly throughout the world and humanity will look upon its benevolent splendor and know the world is good.”
The game’s story is anarchical and sweeping..."

Many developers try to copy great games and they often fail miserably. These are some video game rip-offs that are hilariously bad.
Every battle royale and soulslike. Every cartoony live service game with dancing

Many of the AAA out on the market today have garnered themselves millions of loyal fans and millions of dollars in revenue. But what if you can’t afford these $60 beauties, or perhaps are looking for something…different? These five video games are the generic store brands of the video game world. Just be warned — your mileage may vary.

The author intentionally plays bad video games for your twisted amusement. Tonight's Episode: Quantum Theory.
with Quantum Theory, I played the demo and was not impressed. I felt like they were trying to mix Gear of War with Lost Planet, and didn't do either very well. May be someone who never played either would have a blast with it though.
I followed this game forever until I finally came out. I got it and loved every bit of it. Originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. It got horrible reviews and I didn't understand any of them. They must've been playing a different game then me!
I'm actually shocked at the score, all the reviews I've seen so far that been brutal, so it's nice to see the game getting a somewhat good score.
Read the review and tell me that guy isn't sugarcoating it a bit too much..
and why wont he just mention Gears? like Tecmo has forbidden him to do so or else no more review copies EVARRR... the 'other game' lol... people who played and enjoyed that 'other game' are the ones that probably might be interested in this in the first place. yup. defiantly a sales pitch. :)
I am actually playing the game. The game is a good Third Person Shooter.
This game is garbage, how it was actually listed for a full retail sales price is beyond me. They pulled the wool over everyones eyes who purchased this. I felt bad for a friend of mine who was excited to finally have a gears type game for the ps3 who traded in Killzone2, Force Unleashed, MAG and he still had to pay 16 bucks for it. LMAO, he was ashamed to tell me about his error after I told him how bad this was. He thought I was just being harsh, anyone who gives this a pass works for the company or has a family/friend employed there.
Awful, awful, awful....dont even waste you Gamefly time on this. For those like my buddy who purchased this waste of a disc, I am sorry you have my condolences. My local Gamefly got 2 copies of this, when he tried to take it back after a day they offered him 20 bucks for it. They said they only had 1 pre order which was his. Both copies are now back at that store waiting on the next victim....lol
