The recent YouTube trailer for the gritty movie Pokemon Apokelypse left fans in joy...and then in disappointment shortly thereafter when it was discovered to be a (unusual) homage to Nintendo’s beloved franchise. It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
Sweet! Street Fighter and Legend of Zelda should definitely be made. MGS one looks pretty awesome too.
Ohh. I remember the Legend of Zelda one. That one was amazing.
That LoZ one needs to be real... oh, how painful it is to watch that trailer.
You know, honestly, I'm OK with my favorite games not being movies. Cat's Cradle doesn't need to be a game, In The Aeroplane Over the Sea doesn't need to be a novella, and The Legend of Zelda doesn't need to be a movie (any more than Watchmen needed to be a movie). Sometimes things get made in a certain medium because that's the best medium for them.
*Shrug*
