Eurogamer writes: "CD Projekt scriptwriter Jan Bartkowicz reckons that role-playing games like Dragon Age and The Witcher 2 don't compete with each other, because fans of the genre are more likely to buy everything they can get their hands on than fans of action or sports games would be.
"Dragon Age really was influenced by us and that's great," Bartkowicz told Eurogamer in an interview to coincide with the developer's Eurogamer Expo session today."

Alexander Morton, the Scottish actor probably best known for starring in British comedy drama Monarch of the Glen - but known to me for being the hilariously foul-mouthed dwarf Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 - has died aged 81.

Dragon Age 2 set the precedent that the series would always carry our choices over, but was it worth it?
If the choices won't matter, why bother? Bioware works so hard at giving meaningful choices but rarely if ever carrying out the impact of such choices to the end.

The Witcher Trilogy bundle is currently listed with an 89% discount on Steam, and you can save over $60 thanks to this Summer Sale discount.
Damn right on my account. RPGs like this, especially the promising ones, are few and far between. I get em all.
It also helps that the devs have wildly different design methodology. You will never mistake a TES game for a BioWare or either of those for CD Project, etc.
lol they did make a bold claim
"This is going to be bold, right, but I think Mass Effect was and Dragon Age was for sure, because we made some things that weren't really that popular in RPGs at the time,"
Well it is true. now watch bioware bad mouth them. Like they did with JRPGS
I shall get to see how special thy really are for myself. That does not mean I am buying it though. I don't reward this kind of hype.
The Witcher didn't feel like an RPG at all, it was boring. I had big expectations before it came out but quit playing it after two hours.
So hopefully, this one is better and not so linear.
