f Sega went back to the console business, Sony would just kick their **** again. Dreamcast was good, but failed because of the idiots that bought a PS2 just for DVDs. If Sega made a new console, not only would the console die fast, but so would the company. Sega has already lost their ability to make consoles.

If it ever were to happen I would be a very happy bunny still got my dreamcast and a 2 is well over due if sega can do it I think they should

He can really screw one of the consoles over if he does plan on making a dreamcast. He also needs to get the timing right though or it will end up like the first Dreamcast, but it also depends if Sega is interested at all to make a comeback. well, he did mention that he would be interested in working with any of the 3 giants.

If the Dreamcast 2 were ever to happen one console maker would have to leave. For me I would probably chose MS. Its a tough decision between Nintendo or MS. Out of the three consoles this gen the only one that keeps me entertained is the PS3.

tell me one great thing sega have done since the dreamcasts demise? exactly, nothing. they havent even produced a 'good' sonic game in the last ten years.

they didnt even have the decency to they make shemue 3 and finish what they started.

sega should find another business because videogames are quite clearly not their forte.

if they made a new 'dreamcast slim' - a re-release of the dreamcast with a built in hard-drive preloaded with a library of games and ability to play existing dreamcast games, i would buy that. but dreamcast 2? nah

for wot purpose,it will just be another console with the dreamcast name. i know,why not make games you would have made for dreamcast on the current consoles lol,you can even put the dreamcase logo on the box somewhere haha

since. however, Id be wary to support their next console. It all sounds great, but the DC was the most successful console launch ever up till that point, they had awesome software and a console ahead of its time. Yet it still failed before it should have.

Maybe if I didnt think sega would just throw in the towel as soon as some competition shows up, but I think they already gave up too early on their best chance, which was the DC.

it will FAIL just like dreamcast 1 did although we really love to see dreamcast 2,i had one for years & loved it & never had a single problem from it but software wise it will never compete with Nintedo or big SONY.

This will never happen. The last two consoles Sega made were flops. So I wouldn't expect them to ever make a new console. Especially since the economy is down.

Dreamcast was one of the best console in my life.. i wanna see the second one for sure.. do it sega :)

At all the damn sega haters....if they were to make a DC2 it could be awesome hell the first one looked better that the ps2 and it came out first...hell most DC games still look good and I am pleased to say that my launch Dreamcast still works...too bad I can't say that for my launch 60Gb ps3(cough cough bad BD laser cough cough).... if made Dreamcast 2 would be bought day one period.

The Dreamcast was a fun system for the time, I installed it in my Ford Explorer back in the day...lol...NFL 2k2 for the road trip, a lot of people had no idea what the console was but were impressed with the graphics. Its a shame it died the way it did, because it had a hell of an engine under the hood.

I always say it, but more competition is better for us as consumers. It makes the other companies step their games up and make a better product. Just like cars, why settle for a Geo Metro when I have a Camaro or Mustang to pick from.

I would say go for it but there's a lot of competition to fight. If it happens good luck.
