Lots of people remember the first time they experienced their favorite video games. Although I’ve logged tons of hours playing the Halo franchise, for example, I still think back to when a friend introduced me to it in his college dorm room, launching one of my biggest obsessions. Then there was the original Resident Evil. I rented it from a video store because I didn’t have enough cash to buy it (games costs $59.99 in 1996 as well). And, of course, I have fond memories of Half-Life, Valve’s celebrated first person shooter, which I first played at my parents’ house, hunched over the old Compaq.

Half-Life 3 may not be too far away from release, as the game suspected to be the third entry in the series has entered the optimization phase.
That one episode of Billy & Mandy where the very fabric of reality was destroyed when Mandy smiled. That's what'll happen when Valve finally counts to 3.
Is this kinda like when it was supposed to be at the 2024 TGAs?
A prototype build of the Half-Life expansion, Blue Shift, from the year 2000 has found its way onto to internet.

The Untold Story Behind a Meteoric Rise
Such an amazing game, between this Jedi Knight and Quake II, I was in FPS heaven as a kid.
Speaking of a comeback, its on its way, http://www.blackmesasource....
It's coming, give it time.
I know Im gonna get a lot of hate for this, but....
Half-Life 2 is over-rated.
Still a great game, but people just act like it's Jesus in videogame form.
I would love to see Half-Life 3, although, I fear that HL2's success might cause Valve to not work as hard on it, due to raving fans. They know they won't have to much much effort into due to "Half-Life" being in the title. And the press is sure to give it the Halo treatment.
Valve just can't do wrong they pull out all the stops all the time
and for the community, come on which other developer has so much loyal and devoted fans, just look at this http://www.blackmesasource....
