PS4 Sony dot Net take a look at what hurt Sony in the launch of the PlayStation 3 and see how it may be beneficial to their launch of the PS4.

Karl writes: - You’re placed in an out-of-this-world environment (there’s a small selection to choose from) and after a quick tutorial of which buttons do what, you’re free to play! Using the motion controllers to combine a variety of shapes and colors (and a bit of freehand painting) you’ll produce beats, synths and…other musical sounds (I’m not an EDM expert so you’ll have to forgive my ignorance on the subject) which will create and elevate the chosen track (again not a huge selection but enough to showcase ArtPulse).

Josh writes: - I am going to cut through all the formalities I normally give my reviews with Himno. Normally I try to go into ever Indie title I play with an open mind, and that was no different with Himno. The game boasts “a non-violent, no death platformer.” That may be true that you do not fight off zombies or orcs. However, the bit about not dying is a load of crap as you will constantly fall into the water as you have no clue where you are going half the time.
The animation is nice and it looks like it controls well but they seem to have forgotten to make it a game.

Lyam writes: - Mekabolt is very simple in concept. Your gun itself is the mekabolt and shooting enemies allows you to manipulate them in a way to continue on in the stage. For instance, one enemy walks on a platform and by shooting it, you can use it to access higher heights. Another is a flying one that when shot, it falls to the ground briefly, letting the player have a moment to jump atop of it and ride upwards. Figuring out the patterns of the enemies and what their benefits are is the key to success in finishing stages. There’s not much difficulty since each time a new concept such as a new enemy appears, the next few stages are simplified to learn the benefits of that enemy.
theres no such thing. every console struggles in the beginning. its relatively new, so obviously killer aps cant come out when the developers are just starting to get comfy with developing for the system...
so why jeopardize a quality title for something mediocre just so you can release it in the beginning of a systems lifespan? to encourage sales. yes, it certainly sounds like something one should do, but lets be real, even today developers are trying to make full understanding with the ps3...and im glad...cus i dont want the games to be ALL THEY CAN BE the same month the console comes out...
i want to see something improve over time, and thats why i think you dont see good launches...yes, the price is expensive, but ur getting what u pay for...ur paying 600 on launch day for something that will last throughout the decade...thats dirt cheap in my opinion...how often do you spend 600 bucks on a TV for example, that will be obselete in 10 years...can the tv itself evolve? NO. can the ps3? certainly...
with time, it gets better and better, and you see the difference. you didnt buy hardware, you bought something that will continue to change as you do, and the price for that is justified.
now as time goes by, the console becomes cheaper...its cheaper cus youl spend less time with it, then the ones who bought it from the getgo. for extra 300 bucks, they spent 2 years with it already, something you can never take away from them, or give yourself...youl always be 2 years behind...again, that 300 is justified... and to make things sweeter, cus of that, i still have 4 usb slots, and backwars compatability, with all sorts of little camera USB slots, micro SD slots in the front, that you cant argue with your slim.
in the end, we seen the ps3 do exactly what ps2 did. doom articles here and there, but look at it now, 4 years down the road...it came, it saw, and it conquered once more...
start the killer aps 3-4 years before the system release, then bam!!!!
On release day is sure to be a system seller.
price point ,.. that is all,.. whatever people say that was the biggest factor for many,. It was well worth it, but still,..
Price is a major factor for consumers,.. and not value,.. sad but true,..
hope for bc in PS4,..
All the PS3 was lacking back then was an affordable price tag and a killer exclusive lineup. I don't think SONY is a company that falls in the same hole twice.
PS3 had a good launch overall it just took them a little bit of time to get all the devs on board because they were the last ones to launch and thats understandable. When the console got well established things changed And you saw the Momentum shift like it offering more stuff like bluray and 3D etc etc.
I dont want bubbles im just saying the truth lames can die slow.
