The Devil May Cry series is getting a complete reboot with the upcoming game DmC. Some of you may be happy about that and some of you might be really upset. If you're in the second camp, Capcom's Alex Jones and Tameem Antonlades want to change your mind by explaining why you should be excited about DmC.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
I'm right in the middle. I never really liked the series to begin with. I always thought Dante was cheesy and said some pretty suspect things. That being said, I did complete DMC & DMC 2. I even enjoyed DMC2 a fair bit. It still isn't a franchise I would buy a system for, though.
As for the new look, I am a huge Non supporter of Ninja Theory. I think the quality of their work is very poor and to charge full price for their games is a disservice. They're talentless. I also hate how they throw their Two cents into everything. You'll hear these guys talk so much garbage just to hear themselves.
At the end of the day do I care about the change? Not really.
At the end of the day will I buy the new iteration? Hell no.
At the end of the day will this be Ninja theory's last game? Probably. I think they're a sinking ship. Sony had the option to buy them and they didn't. There is no value there. Capcom, EA, Activision, Konami; none of those guys will take the risk either.
Much like terrible remakes of classic horror movies of the past, this will happen. It will. But no one will care about it. They'll always talk of the originals and how good they were, though. This has to weigh on Ninja Theory's head too.
wow this is gonna be bad
FAIL.
the game itself looks like it might be good; but yeah the change to his look is pretty alienating to the fans. Watching this video makes me wonder why they would hand off the franchise to people that don't give a shit about pleasing the fans, especially since they look like typical, bro-douchebag producers. They can keep the new look, but is it really so hard to keep his hair white?
