Gravity owns 50.8% of share at US$ 11.7b and acquired the managerial right of Barunson Interactive. Barunson Interactive is founded in 2003 and has developed MMORPG <Dragonica> and so on.
Korean developer Gravity, a subsidiary of Japan’s GungHo Online Entertainment, recently announced the opening of its Taiwan office. The team will not only aim at the domestic market, but apparently the Southeast Asia gamers as well (with or without partners). The first few games which Gravity Taiwan will launch includes the revival of Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Online Web, and Wonder Flick R.

While you may not recognize GungHo Online Entertainment as a company, you probably have played one of their games. GungHo owns Ragnarok Online developer Gravity Games, made Mimana Iyar Chronicle, and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. Just a year ago, GungHo acquired Way of the Samurai 4 and Akiba’s Trip developer Acquire. GungHo’s next big step is a Westward expansion with their newly opened international branch, GungHo Online Entertainment America.
Siliconera spoke to Kazuki Morishita, CEO and President, about the company’s plans, developing games for Vita, and what’s going on with Ragnarok.
Loved what they did with Ragnarok and quite liked the interview as well. Can't wait to see what else they will have in store for us :)

"Ragnarok Odyssey on PlayStation Vita was released in Japan last week. The game sold 33,496 copies in its first week, and while that isn’t a terribly high amount, it was in line with retailer expectations."
I wonder what the digital sales are. Should be very interesting to see data on digital copies.

Man, it feels good to know games I support on the VITA are turning out so well. Hopefully, this game gets an English version sooner rather than later. :)
