You know, I'm digging the fact that my boy KD is in the cover but the demo is bad. Check youtube for the many things that are wrong with this game.

Well if you remember 2K5, when it was released for $30 LESS than EA's games and it was 10 times better, EA took over all of football because they had the money to do so. 2K doesn't want that to happen to NBA, so they need money. I'd gladly pay $60 for 2K11 anyway.

it is that bad compared to 2k11 u play elite and u are like wtf are u serious they spent a year making this lol playing nba live elite jam is like u getting married and on the honeymoon u find out your wife dosent have any walls lol

then you don't know squat about basketball. After playing 2K11 how can you say NBA Elite isn't bad. Graphics are horrible, animations are last gen and when boozer dunks with 2 hands from the free-throw line then you know something is wrong. If you like arcade basketball then you might enjoy Live/Elite. But EA has to stop promoting this series as a simulation basketball game because it's not. 2K is at least 5 years ahead of EA on basketball. EA needs to start over from scratch starting with a new graphics engine and a new physics engine. EA should stop for now and work on this so they can start with the right foot next-gen.

Why would they be shocked. You mean to tell me nobody was man enough to stand up in a dev meeting and say this game sucks ass we shouldnt release it. How could they even look at this game and look at all the stuff 2K is doing and say our game is better? EA get off your ass and stop making wack ass games. When i saw the dev diary movies i knew the game was ass then. The new controls suck. I'm not trying to play street fighter here. I want to play basketball. The controls are the worst. You try one move and something else happens if you don't do the move just perfect and then to shoot sucks. Fire whoever green lite this game. Thats why the guy for 2K left and went back to 2K he knew this game was going to be ass even back then.

The price tag i put on my items doesnt make em valuable. What makes em valuable is the price other people are willing to pay for them... Just sayin.

Even though I treasure my PS1 discs, $9.99 sure is a lot more easier to swallow than $199.

NBA Elite was terrible. Everyone was capable of dunking from the free throw line like Jordan.

Special editions are often worth investing in. So long as the extras don't suck and the game was well received.

In regards to NBA Elite 11, I wouldn't even bother purchasing the game. Why? Because if it has a lot of problems and wasn't supposed to be circulated in the first place, then that must mean it doesn't work in many elements. I buy video games to actually play them, not prop them up on my shelf and say, "Yep, I spent a grand on that." Plus, it's a sports game. Those things are already ripoffs at their current price given they are all yearly releases with little changes.

I sold a rare game not too long ago, it was Aquanaughts Holiday Korean/English version. Got $90 for it on Ebay.

I have the Ar Tonelico collector's edition, although I only bought it out of curiosity and because I wanted a good RPG for the PS3. I didn't really care if it came with all the extra stuff or not, but it did. There are a couple of stores around me that have the Hyperdimension Neptunia collector's editions too, maybe I'll pick one up tomorrow.

The only ones I have a regret about is Assassin's Creed II: Master Assassin's Edition and Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition.

But what's this worth? As I understand it only twenty were made.

i never understand why there are limited production runs from some publishers. games like ar tonicula and hyperdimension neptunia would keep selling if they were reprinted so why arent they?

I've always wanted the UC2 Collector's Edition but Naughty Dog made it European Exclusive which is bull shit.
Now I'm getting the UC3 Collector's Edition best believe that.

The special editions of games that are worth having are games that have special additional content that other versions of the same game don't have. Otherwise all other types of special editions of games are a waste of money that contain a bunch of junk.

I know what someone will eventually probably come in defense of certain special editions of games like the modern warfare special edition game claiming that it comes with a pair of night vision goggles to justify the price. The fact of the matter is those night vision goggles are some of the cheapest on the market. If you want a good quality pair of night vision goggles you are going to pay 100's of dollars per pair.

I did get a laugh when I read up on the game called Hyperdimension Neptunia, because I sort of consider it the unofficial official game of n4g.

I have the MK Tournament edition. The arcade stick was worth every penny.

some games are consider rare just by themselves...

for example... it's not PS3.. but I think the original PSone version of Castlevania: SOTN is rare and I own it... not the version with the Green "Greatest Hits" written on it.. that was the 2nd one... I'm talking the one before that... I wanna say it's like 60+ if you wanna get it...

also what about the game Folklore??? I don't really know anything about it.. but I do remember reading it came out at PS3 launch and it was a pretty good game.... I bet ya that's considered a rare or hard to get game for PS3.
