Activision isn't done. That's dumb to say because the majority of the people that buy CoD games every year, aren't on N4G and other big gaming sites to even know who the hell Bobby Kotick is. The percentage of people who know what he says is so small that the bottom line isn't really affected all that much.

COD is garbbage, I think Halo and Killzone shit on the cod franchise. COD seems just to be a fad with the kids these days, nothing more. The yearly releases don't even bring anything worthwhile to even be called a "new game", its the same formula and same bull. At least killzone is bringing 3d and move, and all kinds of techinical advancements, whilst halo reach brought back everything and alot more to it's online and base platform engine.
Now medal of honor...that's a game I WILL support. The game looks phenomenal

The guy's not even business savvy. On the Activision side, they only make so much money because IW wanted to make a modern war shooter, despite protests from the Activision suits. The suits finally caved in and voila, MW and MW2 makes well over a billion dollars and become the hottest shooter franchise on the planet. But how does Kotick reward the guys who came up with the idea for a modern shooter? He fires them. Kotick got lucky with MW, it wasn't even his idea, he fought against it .: bad business sense, bad PR and very bad for Activision.

He shouldn't be credited with anything, it is possible for a company to profit despite its CEO.

The Xbox division has not listened to the customer since the 360 days. Ever since Kinect, Microsoft has been about selling us what they want and trying to tell us it’s what we want rather than actually selling us what we are asking for.

Microsoft does have a history of running things into the ground simply because they don't innovate or give products breathing space. I fully expect in the long term they will manage the same with Call of Duty and will kill it, just as they killed Halo and Forza and many other IP's over the years. This also extends to things like windows phones and such. They just were not competitive and did not listen to consumers.
