no it is similar to DS

BTW it isn't too expensive

I'll wait until they knock $100 off that price. I've looked at my gameboy color, and Nintendo DS game library and they're pretty much non existent.

I buy Nintendo's handheld for Pokemon, and a few other good titles, so I for one can wait a year or 2 or 3.

Same thing goes towards to the new PSP and the new consoles unless they have really strong showings at launch.

All consoles need that 2 to 3 years to get a really good library started and if you join in then, you'll always have something to play since you'll be playing catch up, not to mention the games will be cheaper.

The problem with gaming being so high this gen is because everyone want the newest games right away.

Whatever the price, we can be certain it won't be cheap. The 3D screen tech that it uses is expensive, it has a bunch of things like Two 3D cameras, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope, and it sure has upped the processing.

If anything, I'd say $250 is low balling it.

Thanks for all of the arguments and for generating so much discussion, guys. I now see that my comment is totally silly.

Oh wait, that's right, just phantom disagrees.
You 3DS fanatics...the thing isn't even out yet; quit eating the hype by the spoonful.

Im just gonna wait for the PSP2.
I never liked Nintendo.
Their first party exclusives suck and are for kids.
Their consoles are gimmicky.
Their graphics are a generation behind.
And they get a bunch of shovelware.
The 3DS DOES have a great lineup at launch. But will it continue to stay good.

Let the "Disagrees" begin... :)

star fox is the greatest game ever made and its for the 3ds so its already the 2nd greatest console ever

Though the PSP was the first successful non-Nintendo Handheld in awhile, the DS blew it away.

The DS had sold more, had more games & third party support, and overall was a better handheld.

The 3DS will continue the have a strong lineup, theres no doubt in my mind. DS still has great 3rd Party support, (unlike the PSP, which still gets a few great titles like Birth by Sleep, but not many) and so will the 3DS.

About $100 too much for me.

But to be fair, I hate gaming on small-screened handhelds.

SandWitch5726d ago

I think it should be less. About $220 in my opinion.

Rrobba5726d ago

I think it will cost $229.99

$250 seems like a bit too much, but I think they'd like to charge more than $200.

Either way, I'll be getting this. Once again, Nintendo leads innovation.

I enjoyed both Rush games, I did think the action was sometimes too fast to see what was coming up in terms of hazards though, which meant replaying the same stage a bunch of times, other than that they were enjoyable, good special stages, 3D sections and bosses for the most part.

DS is one of the best consoles of all time. Such a rich library of software
Zelda were all glorious on it.
