He is attempting to sugar coat the fact that Move and Kinect based games are what makes more sense to developers now, which is all fine and dandy. Playstation Move and Kinect are two great additions to already amazing console experiences. However we have to think about what it means if developers follow Brain Farrell’s words of wisdom and invest in mostly Move and Kinect development.
The gaming industry is a business, and if making more money by spending less is an option then creativity and even originality is put on the line. That is if developers decide to go for Kinect and Move based production due to the budgets are smaller than creating higher quality productions.

A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.
That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.

Joy Ride Turbo launched 10 years ago today. The first title was Xbox Kinect exclusive, yet this sequel failed to support the device at all.
No. Graphically Sports Champion isn't like Uncharted 2 but game play wise its a whole lot of fun - even when sitting down.
Judging by the launch titles they seem to be focused more on fun and less on graphics.. You do remember fun right??
I think as we get to the next wave of games I think the quality will come but you will never get rid of the shovelware.
But at least with move it can be easily incorporated into existing games e.g. nba2k11, tiger woods, heavy rain, etc etc. Kinect makes use of the xbox cpu so sacrifices will have to be made/
