Review: Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures (Spawnkill.com)

Eric of Spawnkill.com writes:

"While Star Wars fans anxiously await the release of Bioware’s Star Wars MMO Old Republic, Sony Online Entertainment has released their own browser-based MMO titled Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. Based on the hit animated television series, Clone Wars Adventures is aimed at a younger audience, offering family-friendly environment while at the same time offering up a large variety of arcade-style games. While this isn’t a traditional MMO, Clone Wars Adventures delivers a stellar set of mini-games to go along with some nice social interaction, not to mention the appeal of having content updated to coincide with the new episodes of the television show."

I just dont get why so many of the games require you to pay to get to the hard difficulty setting. they should change that to get more ppl into the game.

Yeah no reason to shut people out from playing certain games if they'd like to play em, maybe have them earn points or something but not force someone to play on Hard.

I'd be surprised if fans trusted SOE for anything star wars related anymore.

I'm definitely going to check this out.

I had never heard of this before, but then I'm not a Star Wars fan.

I know 2 is free to play, and I believe 1 is as well. So to my knowledge yes.

I want another Champions of Norath...

FlashXIII5082d ago

AAA quality and SOE barely go hand in hand.. they're development teams are too busy ramming WoW's success to make anything successful these days.

As brought up in a PM.. I'm talking from a strict MMORPG perspective, Planetside 2 is freaking hype. Can't wait for that game.

negroguy5082d ago

Sweet mother of god planetside 2 yes please

tweet755082d ago

ouch hope these arent highlights of sonys E3

Sony Entertainment Online doesn't equal the company that makes your violent shooters.

Wrong division.

DivineAssault 5082d ago

Your right.. Sony is the "Jack of all trades" & is finally moving forward again doing what they lost sight of.. Bringing exclusives to the console is why ps1, ps2, & now ps3 are all so great. One cannot deny the diversity playstation offers.. The only thing that sucks is that it took them SOOO DAMN LONG to start releasing all these & the incoming jrpgs.. Oh well, 10yr life cycle is evident
