NXT Gamer's Edd gives us his rundown of the six developers that should try something different with their next game:
"Too often developers appear to get stuck in a rut, repeating themselves over and over again with endless sequels. They run out of innovative ideas, and there’s barely any inspired changes between each iteration. Sure, they progressively improve, but everyone’s bored by now. Time for some radical changes devs!"

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Bungie and Santa Monica should be on that list. Not because those are bad devs, but because I would love to see what else they can do!
Not because I think they are all bad(some are), but because I would like developers to do something different before just releasing sequels to franchises.
Should absolutely be on that list, all they have done is Halo a FPS. All they have done is gone multi platform, that is not an indication of change. Also since they went to Activision who loves to whore out franchises do you really think they'll let them do anything other than a FPS, a FPS MMO does not count as something different either, only a better way to rip off the masses by Activision, this list is terrible and inaccurate.
I think the sony studios should swap franchises, let Guerilla make heavenly sword 2, let Naughty Dog make a new Alundra, let Polyphony Digital make Uncharted 3, Team Ico make Ratchet and Clank, Santa Monica make ape escape.
The world would prob end but be interesting :P
Bungie, Santa Monica, and Kojima Productions come to mind.
