Lame, 60 cap. Activision Blizzard is the definition of lame. Hope theres still chat channels which SC2 lacks.

Can't wait for D3. I assume Blizzard will make a huge deal for D3 like they did for Starcraft 2 World wide.

Hell, they got the art style from WoW, why not the level cap too? (Notice I'm still sour about the childish art style for a game that's supposed to be darker...) Not saying it won't be good, I'm sure it will, but I am saying it lost part of its soul/appeal.

Only reason to have a level cap so low, is so they can release expansions with extra incentive for people to buy--i.e. increased level cap with each expansion. Just watch, it'll happen.

What does it matter rather have more content/level ratio. Then to grind the last 10 levels because people want the 99 level thing just for the sake of it.

This kind of disappoints me. In Diablo you level up to get more skill points..... so this means we will not have as many skill points to distrubute......

lvl 99 is also one of those goals that keep you playing.... It always gets boring to me after you reach max level and stop gaining experience it feels like im killing stuff for no reason at that point!

Sounds like a good idea to me. I mean just Max out all your characters at 60. Then go PvP and rape.

Well they might choose a lower level cap than in the D1 and D2 because in D3 ever level might have a bigger impact than they did in earlier games. Once you reached a certain level in D2 for example, another level didn't really matter. I hope thats the main reason to why they would set the level cap to 60.

Where were the complaints about Fallout 3's LOW level cap or Borderlands' LOW level cap that increased with pay DLC?

The thing is Blizzard know what they are doing, you're going to have 60 meaningful and impacting levels then with the TWO expansions they already announced eons ago they will likely raise the cap by 20 each time delivering new skills for each class with it, this is a GOOD system as you wouldn't want to hit 100 and miss out on those new skills (and thus resulting skill combinations) now would you?

Remember D2 didn't even have respecs for a LONG time and I'm not sure if D3 will have them at all. Your points and levels matter, don't get pissy over an arbitrary number people.

Level 60 is the cap, then an expansion will come out and raise it higher. Eventually, it's gonna be 99. They just wanna make more money. Greedy activision.

This is the reason they did 1 campaign for each release of starcraft 2. If Activision wasn't money hungry, they could have easily put al 3 campaigns at release, but they didn't. Instead of 3 campaigns on 2 or 3 discs, hey, lets release the rest and make 40-60$ for each of them.

Yet another reason I'm not picking up D3. Too many changes.

Any way they need to bring back weapon switching.

A decrease in level cap doesn't mean it will reduce the playtime - I remember in WoW vanilla only a very few reached level 60 and had the best gear, in fact WoW was more about the experience than having the best gear possible and callign everyone a noob.
