Rumor: Vaan Playable in Dissidia 2

While we already know that Lighting (FFXIII) and Kain Highwind (FFIV) will be present in Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy, it looks like we might have another addition, namely Vaan from Final Fantasy XII.

SE better have an "I'm Captain Basch" joke in this if it's true.

blitz06235631d ago

Ew... not Vaan. But I guess they have to put every FF Main Character, even if he doesn't deserve that title. I'm still waiting for Locke/Shadow from FFVI...

mephman5631d ago

Is he really the main character though?

RememberThe3575631d ago

I loved FF12 but Vaan did suck as a character...

RedPawn5631d ago

How about Rex, Vaan's older brother.

lightningsax5631d ago (Edited 5631d ago )

Maybe Vaan's a joke character whose only moves are shouting the "I'm Captain Basch" lines and dying.

"Basch Lives! Ow! Ugh! Oof!"

Kamikaze1355631d ago (Edited 5631d ago )

Why wouldn't he be in? I hope Balthier is in it, too.

mephman5631d ago

I honestly don't get why they'd put in Vaan instead of a character from Final Fantasy XII that was actually decent.

albel_nox5631d ago

Vaan is a horrible character. Balthier is the only FF12 character worthy of being added to Dissidia.

George Sears5631d ago

Your character was the only decent one in Till the End of Time.

Skullomania5631d ago (Edited 5631d ago )

I prefer Basch.

Hardedge5631d ago

every other character besides him would work...why SE?

mephman5631d ago

Maybe people in Japan.... like him?

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the third main entry in the franchise and the first to be released on a home console. It’s been a long time since the series was last seen and game design has changed drastically since then.

Given that, what’s the difference? How have the Dissidia games changed since the franchise’s inception on the PSP to the recent release on PS4. Here are the major changes between Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

Although it doesn’t have Dissidia in its title, the Theatrhythm games are part of the franchise since they are spinoffs and feature Cosmos and Chaos

So there’s more than 4 games in the Dissidia franchise

jamiethepayne2939d ago

True, but I wouldn't really count them as part of the same spinoff series. Plus, if I added Curtain Call to the list, none of the Dissidia games would have a fighting chance XD

Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Friday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 5 weeks past. I began this 6-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $85 per hour.. Go this web and start your work.. Good luck.... http://www.fl-y.com/3r8h
