This is very rare, keep it in mind. Do not expect to get a refund for sure, even if it's the first time you ask for it.

That is a rare case actually. From what I've heard Steam doesn't perform any refunds unless purchases are made within close proximity of buying date or serious problems.

That said, I really wish they have a sort of trade system that users can used to exchange for credit. :)

I know this is a long shot but I purchased Modern Warfare 2 about a year ago on my account *block*. I was really unaware of what I was getting with this game, totally my fault.

If possible I would like to refund that purchase which would then be used to buy *good game*. I am a loyal customer who has spent over $1000 dollars on Steam since to release of Counter Strike I just made a bad decision and I am hoping for a little help.

I heard they were pretty decent about refunding saints row 2, since the game is a complete mess on pc.

Excellent service. Love Valve and Steam. Not only are their offers insanely good they also know how to treat gamers and fans.

i cant lie i own all 3 but i play my ps3 the most, just down to personal preferences.. BUT its obvious that PC is and always will be better in all aspects just because they have better hardware and are upgradable.. that simple..

but thats not to say consoles are awful, because they're actually very good in what they offer for the price range given..

That's the key. I love Steam too in the little amount of time I have used it. They have sales all the time and really get involved with the community. They also offer free content in their own games.

The thing is these guys running the show are gamers themselves. They don't put on expensive suits and show sales graphs to the audience. They get their hands dirty and create games and a service like Steam that they would use themselves.

Probably what it is was the 1000+ dollars he's spent. Steam is very nice to their loyal customers. If this was the first time he'd ever bought a game on Steam, or the first time in a long while, they probably wouldn't have been so forgiving. I wonder how much I've spent on Steam? I don't even know, but I have about 170 games on there.

This isn't really a reason why steam is awesome, but why good customer service is awesome. This can happen with any company that wishes to take extra care of its customers.

Oh well at least I can save more money

Mine was q2 2022 anyway so I can wait. I'll have my Evercade VS and Playdate to keep me occupied. Oh, and my PS5 of course. Roll on GT7!

Mine said "q1 2022" and now it's "after q2 2022" meaning halfway into the year at q3. This sucks, I was holding off all my new purchases for steamdeck but I guess I'll carry on like normal now .

I'm working on getting a Switch OLED right now but I do plan on getting this and an Xbox Series X next year. Hopefully those will be more readily available when the time comes.

Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer lol.

Mine is pre ordered so don't care. Take as long as you need. When the time comes that they ship I know I'll have one.

Bummer, but can definitely wait. This holiday is going to destroy my bank account anyway. Waiting a bit has never really hurt me anyhow. Still can't wait for Feb.
