Gamereactor interviewed Virtual Air Guitar's Teemu Mäki-Patola about the upcoming PSN title Kung-Fu Live:
"Q. So, Kung-Fu Live is squeezing a lot of power out of the PS Eye - how does it compare to what we're seeing from Kinect? What are the technical limitations, and how do you overcome them?
Our Freemotion technology is doing similar stuff. For instance, in addition to removing the player's background we also track the player's skeleton, which is used for various things such as collision detection, pose recognition, movement exaggeration and detecting special moves. The difference is that we are doing this with a normal 2D web camera. Detecting depth of the player's moves is harder."

got a 4yr that loves the demo and i was planning on buying this for him!
not 2flame but is this on Kinect? If not then why even make Kinect in the 1st place? This is the sort of game that needs made for camera games.. I love watching him play.. its funny
Yeah, the game is mad fun playing with friends just messing around. It is not AAA by any means, but it is a unique experience. You are not just the controller, you ARE the character!
not many games are AAA at that price range unless your talking used and even then its more like 20 for those... Its fun 4sure
