This reminds me of when NamcoBandai announced Tales of Vesperia for PS3 and then those fans who bought an Xbox360 for this game became really upset and angry which led to some people breaking their 360 copies of Vesperia.

I choose 360 because the games appeal to me. Whether you people think they are crap or not, the 360 has a online service i am more than happy to pay for, games i want to play and a controller that is comfortable for my hand.

To be fair, in Japan it's not really fanboyism. Fanboyism being illogical fondness over a product... but in Japan since the 360 offers next to nothing a JP gamer would be interested in it's quite understandable that they're pro PS3 and don't want anything to do with a 360.

Obviously this goes too far though.

This is just sad how the state of gaming has become. When you have to threaten a man's life just to keep a game off the competitions console is just sad. I mean you don't see people get upset to the point they are threatening bioware or EA for putting ME2 on the ps3 with extra content.

Fanboys really need to chill out. These dev's and publishers are in it for the money. So if they can maximize their profits by making a game multiplat. Then why not. If you don't like what these guys are doing don't support any of their product. But when you have to start threatening dev's and companys just for the sake of keeping a game exclusive. So GTA4, FF13, DMC4, Tekken 6, and the rest were okay for Sony to lose, yet ME2 was completely off limits? It does seem like that. Why is Sony required to lose every third party exclusive they ever had, yet MS isn't supposed to have full exclusivity on EVERY 3rd party exclusive THEY have?

Xbox lost dead rising,mass effect, ninja gaiden, DOA, oblivion etc. Not really one sided. I wish MS and Sony teamed up to make 1 console peronally. It would end all this fanboy crap and give devs 1 main system to focus on. I could careless what nintendo does.

The problem with the titles you listed is that they were all titles that had timed exclusivity that ran out. MS was able to keep that exclusivity for a certain time (until the potential system sales from said titles ran out), and then they tossed it to the side and focused on the next run of timed exclusivity for another title.

With the things the PS3 lost, they never even got as much as TIMED exclusivity. The 360 version (sans FF13 Japan) was always released at the same day, date, and time as the PS3 version, and the PS3 owners had to wait on the game until the 360 was done.

Honestly, I don't get why no one is able to understand that concept. That's really easy to understand, and yet, it's as if no one even brings it up. Because they DON'T! They don't because if they DO, it would destroy any case they have as to why MS has suffered "the same fate".

I had no idea you had the contract in front of you. Was this a timed exclusive or was it based on sales performance? Typically timed exclusives aren't revealed until the game releases on the other console. If they are announced as timed exclusives it kind of defeats the purpose.
