Anyone play Shattered Memories on the wii? I was pumped after not playing my Wii since Smash Bros. But then, i rented Shattered Memories, and ever since needing to shake off enemies in that game, i haven't even touched my Wii. God that was the most frustrating, stupid, clunky, horrible idea for controls ever. And it made me severely question why the hell the nunchuck isn't wireless. ...cause boy did that wire ever piss me off.

silent hill one scared the shit out of me

Good, hope early 2011 release.

It looks like they are going for a more traditional silent hill approach, which is not a bad thing at all and I fully encourage that approach. Though it needs to be more dark, mysterious, and more scary in all aspects of the game than from what I have played so far from the latest installment. Though I think whatever initial things that need to be improved upon I hope that they iron them out before release. Also it seems that they are ditching the specific experimental approach that was iterated in the last installment in which I am glad that they are ditching that aspect. It seems that silent hill 8 is returning to it's silent hill roots in which I am glad that this series is heading back on the right track. I have played all of the silent hill games and I own all of the silent hill games and have pretty much enjoyed the story lines that just about each installment has brought to the series. I have been there since the beginning and it seems ever since after silent hill 3 that the series has been less scary than it used to be, don't get me wrong origins and homecoming were good but they could have been better. It seems to me that the series is not stale but rather that the developers(except team silent) just don't have the passion as team silent had when they developed the silent hill games. I just hope that developer vatra has the same passion or similar passion that team silent had when they produced the first 3 games which has been the pinnacle/high point of the series imo.

I loved Silent Hill 3. The rest were pretty okay but 3 is definitely my favorite. I hope this one turns out pretty good.

This new developer better not repeat the same mistake as Climax or Double Helix did. Some people thought Shattered Memories was very good, but was it really Silent Hill? One of the things I liked about the previous Silent Hill games was attention to detail, especially the hair! The hair in this game looks really muddy, but character models look fine at least better than homecoming.

I hope they dont screw this up like Homecoming which i have to replay from beginning twice because of a bug.
