
Previewing an MMORPG can be a difficult task, especially when the game is still in the beta stage. After all, a beta by definition isn’t the finished game to begin with, and MMORPGs by definition are meant to be long-term investments for the game to be fully experienced. That being said, Game Interface jumped into Avatar Creations’ new offering Perpetuum with a good bit of enthusiasm. To be brief, the setting of Perpetuum is an Earth-like planet rich in a new source of energy. The planet is inhabited by a synthetic life form, and humanity is brought into conflict with the life form in order to mine the planet… and that’s where the gamer comes in.
