Why can't they make is so that the control inputs are tailored to our skill level? This is why i don't even play UFC, it's just too cumbersome for me. Too many buttons and too many moves to remember. It really needs assists that can be turned on and off. Then take a game like Tiger Woods where you can tweak it to suit your style and skill level. That's what i want in ALL my games.

They really need to make games as accessible as possible while not taking away the customization and options that cater to the more hardcore gamer.

I love how people complain about controllers having too many buttons. It's been the same layout for about 10 years now. Get over it.

Does this guy actually think Indie developers would be willing to attempt to utilize every single button, when they are perfectly fine programming a few simple animations for the character and there's no need for other actions? And they don't exactly have the motivation (money) to attempt to create a 3D game with graphics as good as MGS4, GoW3, UC2 etc. To minimize their costs, and hopefully maximize profit, they opt for a 2D side-scroller. But if they want to maximize profit, they sure as hell make a decent game at least. Not many people complain because, well, they know the people that make these small games don't have the resources as many other big companies. Plus it's usually 4 or 5 times cheaper than games sold on a disc.
