Cant this wait until BOTH are released?

They both look incredible graphically, but in my opinion, Killzone has much better animations with a much better sense of brutality, the graphics are better too :)

As a PS3 owner, who really cares? I can buy both. Who cares if one looks slightly better then the other?

Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 constantly get compared to Crysis and Crysis 2 on high end PC's. . .whereas other games from "other platforms" practically get compared to their respectable handheld port versions :p

Crysis will look better than that version in video I CAN GUARANTEE.They release their papers every couple of months with each new editions and performance improvements.Game is still 6 months to go and they said that this is time they are adding layers which will result in actual game looking amazing.

On comparison,i like the lighting of Crysis 2 better(probably because of dark) but i like KZ3 animations the best,best in bizz no doubt...I think we will have to wait for both of them to come to judge...

Pointless comparison. Many of us know what happened when people started opening their mouths when alpha footage was shown of KZ2... soon as media from the review copies hit the net, the fanboys had to run for the hills while crying foul and search for any game their intangible minds could grapple on to, in an attempt to talk Killzone 2 down.

I expect a repeat with KZ3, unless spiteful people have learned their lesson.

Crysis 2 looks great, especially the gameplay in the first video, but Killzone 3 has more particles flying around if you count the snow.

Both are technically excellent-looking games.

Crysis 2 will hopefully look better than Crysis 1 on PC.

can anyone confirm if they are both console versions? i mean obviously killzone is but is crysis the PC or PS3 version? must say both look good. but if crysis is on a high end pc, my vote is Killzone. however if this is indeed the console version, all i gotta say to xbox owners is welcome to "next gen" lol.

crysis always looked bland to me compared to killzone 3 that just reeks of great atmosphere and animation.

Yeah the crysis 2 graphics are pretty ass compared to Kz... doesnt mean it cant be a pretty cool game though, ill def check it out at least b4 judging it, doubt ill buy it though seeing as im still waiting for Kz3.

Graphics are the only thing that matter, so this will show which is the better game.

Based on these vids, its too close to call, I'm actually surprised at how good crysis looks on consoles this is the first i see of it and wow. With all the badmouthing of i thought kz3 would blow it out of the water well not the pc version.

It's really hard to compare 2 games when they're playing at the same time. I think Killzone 3 will look better that the ps3 version of Crysis 2 but the pc version of Crysis 2 will look best and I don't even own a gaming pc.

To be honest that was a close comparison. Both games look like the type of games that should've started of this generation. I say kz3 looks more crisp to my eye. so to hell with crysis 2. I'm not buying because i am a graphics weanie who likes good looking games with no story.

kz3 hands down. Crysis looks good but look at killzone 3, damn. The lighting alone looks dope as hell.

Crysis 2 on pc will also look alot better than the console versions duh!! But still i dont think itll be enough to be the graphics game of the day! In terms of colour, Crysis hands down, but is colour really that important? No.

Just look at the gameplay and graphics watching these games in motion! Crysis looks like half life 2's gameplay, with great graphics!! Where Killzone 3 looks like a Hollywood movie!! No comparison!!

its funny to see how bad there aim is with a controller. on the graphics note consoles don't look half as good as mid to high end pc's no matter what but u just can't tell which of these console versions are better till you play it videos do games no justice till you actually see them in action 1st hand on the same display set. kz isn't a sandbox game though i don't believe not sure i hate console fps's, so just on that note i would say if kz is close or even alil more clear i still say its a loss for it the color and the space=fail compared to crysis since i can remember in benchmarking when playing in dark areas you always get a better framrate..

Wow really a comparison?....they are both different games...and both games look cool...in fact all games are good depending what type of gamer you are...good games don't really need really good graphics. For me a good game has to hav 1) good story
2) gameplay
3) Multiplayer
Last thing is graphics

PC gamers don't play games, they tweak their L337 systems and compare screen shots on the interweb.

The game is ok. Graphically, I'd still say KZ2 is on par with Crysis and when you factor in Art style its just better. I'd rather watch killzone videos then crysis.

Gratz Guerilla, amazing Studio and engine, love Decima!

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.

Need a killzone 2 remake from the ground up.

One of the most creative studios out. I hope they keep it up.

Great studio, loved the Killzone series, I wish they would do a remake of the first three games. Horizon is a real step up and truly put Guerrilla Games on the map.

Too bad I never got a chance to play Shellshock: Nam’67 would have loved to try that game out back in the days to see what were their beginnings.

Bring back killzone (maybe in 3rd person perspective)

It would fantastic to see what they could do in Killzone after the lessons learned through Horizon.

Or heck, give us even a short linear FPS from the people who designed Cauldron THETA in the Burning Shores expansion. Even just flying into it (after gliding around and finding its opening amongst the lava and Sunwings perched around it, with other bigger machines just along the path toward it) was an incredible experience.

Forbidden West is awesome, It’s pretty damn big compared to Zero Dawn and it takes a little while to get your skills up and get the equipment you need to fully explore the game (not going to spoil it) but once you do those things and start fighting the big ass machines it really is amazing. Some cool side quests to where you hold the fate of peoples lives by your choice and the cauldrons look amazing. Lots of skills , combos, special moves and add ons for your weapons so you can approach fights many ways. Looking forward to the name game but I wonder how/if Silas will be a part of it or not ? Sad he’s gone.

20 years of mid-tier games and they are trending down.

I'm hyped for whenever Horizon 3 releases but Killzone 1 needs a remake BAD and 2 & 3 need remasters. Criminal those games are stuck on PS3.

With the way journalists have been consistently saying BotW overshadowed Horizon you’d think the gap between an entry in a new IP and a longrunning one would be bigger Even if you want to include however much the Wii U version of BotW did, both series still did impressive numbers

i really loved the atmosphere and idea of killzone. i hope they revisit it at some point because it always had so much potential.
