The Motion Control War

As gamers we have been labelled with two types of games by the outside world, that is to say when you say you like games they see you either playing Rockstar North’s Grand Theft Auto or Infinity Wards recent blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare . Now this is a biased view of the gaming industry, that basically means anyone who doesn’t play games see’s us as fifteen year old boys playing out sadistic fantasies while roaming the streets of Liberty City or an anonymous country somewhere in the middle east that if named will mean the death of all Infinity Ward employees who made Modern Warfare 2 (well apart from two).

As soon as Sony showed the Move and what it was capable of, this "war" was over.

Nothing can compare to the accuracy of 1:1 tracking and buttons.

Kinect will probably sell more, but any logical person can tell what is better for games.

In terms of quality - the war is over. Over lifetime - PS3 will have a hard time catching the Wii. XB360 sill drop into distant third.

we have had enough with the console wars do we really need the motion wars as well.
Now my point has been made, even most of the reviews say more is the best motion controller out there, so what are you waiting for??

I loved the wii when it first arrived but just really lacked in mature titles for me Like re5,I wanted to have mtion controls for more darker type games then most of the kid friendly games found on the wii, don't get me wrong, I love many nintendo franchises like, mario, zelda and so on, but they were scarce when the wii came out, the lack of a good library of nintendo character games and mature titels just didn't tide with me. So I can't wait to play re5 gold edition with psmove, i'm really pumped, I loved the motion controls for Re4 on the wii and if the psmove controls are anything like that for re5 or hopefully improved, I'll be playing re5 with move for at least a good month, also can't wait to see how motion controls will be implemented into infamous, resistance 3, Mag and Dead Space 2. Some force unleasher 2 ps move support would be jizztastic as well, giggady.

There is at least a few good jokes that could come from that title

Yet another powerful device Sony gave up supporting. KZ3 move was one of the best motion controller implementation ever

just_looken579d ago

Right the ps move was awesome i have the gun thing from killzone still.

Relientk77580d ago

That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Lexreborn2579d ago

Guess that submarine should’ve used move controllers instead of logitech
