Natalie Simpson at Coregamer talks about Fable 3: It has to be said that due to the massive hype surrounding the release of Fable 2 - the latest title in the series has earned many tough critics, however, in my opinion - it's hard to see why. The game more than lives up to the standards we would expect from it. The game play for the previous games was smooth, the story was intriguing, and the concept of evil and good and the level of influence it had over the development of the game was revolutionary. There is no doubt the series is superb.

The Outerhaven writes: Being fans of Fable, we decided to do an in-depth retrospective on the Fable franchise, exploring its choices, consequences, tone, and lasting impact on RPG design.

Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.
I'd love to play it again, this time on pc though. Forever waiting on that pc port.
Loved this game, oh and i always saved my dog at the end, hope the new Fable has a animal companion.
Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.
I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
The Fable series is cartoony, goofy, linear, and has shallow RPG gameplay mechanics - a disappointing RPG that would be right at home on the Wii.
Why peter molyneux has gone down the casual gaming route after promising and failing to deliver an RPG masterpiece is a complete mystery as he & Lionhead Studios are undoubtedly very talented and capable of doing so.
Of course financial success has been forthcoming but then that's the case with many disappointing games such as movie tie-ins and mediocre FPS's. What a wasted opportunity to be great and what a huge let down for the adult gaming community.
