Again, the issues you experienced were directly related to the massive amounts of people trying to play the game. Those issues are things you can't fix until they've happened, since you need tens of thousands of people to stress every server.

When I said WoW was amazingly solid at launch, I meant to add "compared to other MMO's." My second sentence implies that, but I forgot to add it to the first sentence.

I'm willing to bet your inventory and equipped gear being "erased" was actually someone breaking into your account. Seeing as how it happened on at least three occasions, it's more likely that your account was "hacked." Think logically here, what's more likely? Everyone else who lost items to a bug, lost single items and that was pretty rare. Now, you're claiming you lost every single item on your character, at least 3 times. That was your fault, not Blizzards.

You losing your high warlord status isn't related to a launch problem, so why bring it up?

Blizzard not having a login queue was really the worst part of their launch and they fixed that pretty quickly.... You didn't even play at launch did you? One of your complaints was that you had to wait in a login queue, they didn't have queues at launch. Which also means you joined a highly populated server which was highly discouraged by Blizzard. FYI, WoW launched in all of NA at one time.

and the GM's admitted that it was a system error. I also rotate a series of passwords that I don't even share with my wife every 2 months or so. It was not a security issue. I've been in the MMO circuit since the BBS days, I'm hardly new at this. And regardless of "why" the problems were happening, THEY EXISTED :)

Anyhoo, I'm not going to argue about what I (and others) experienced. WOW is a fantastic game, I never said that it wasn't (just mentioned it's launch and early play hiccups - losing months worth of PVP status IS relevant to that) so I'm not really sure why you feel the need to be such an apologist.

P.S. Launch, does not mean actual launch day, in the context I was speaking about (i.e. the first 6 months being beta testing in most MMOs). I don't remember exactly when I began playing, but it was after "day one launch" and these problems were present.

Edit: I KNOW that WOW lauched in NA at once, but seeing as you seem to know so much about MMOs you should know that regions/ ISPs around the world can have connectivity issues with various servers. Hence why I mentioned my location.
