This is more like the best video-game endings from this gen rather than ever.

I didn't really like MGS4's ending. I dunno, didn't feel right. Stupid Akiba and Meryl's wedding was just unnecessary, although it did pave the way for that scene between Sunny and Otacon. I'm still indifferent to the Snake - Big Boss scene and whether BB should have been brought back... again... if only for a while, but the "this is good, isn't it?" had so many possible meanings and references.

Not sure about CoD4 either tbh. It was a good ending but it wouldn't make such a long-lasting impression on me like that of Red Dead Redemption or other games.

IDKAT, Fist fighting Liquid was nothing short of amazing. To me that was the ending of MGS4.

had the best endings this gen..

For me LOZ:TLP was on the Gamecube. I loved that game and yes the ending is great.

Montoya5749d ago

SOTC is one of the greatest. I won`t spoil that one since the Collection is on it`s way.

RedDead5749d ago (Edited 5749d ago )

I can't look at the article for some reason, but if MGS4 is there instead of 3, then the list fails .

And whoa, don't tell me uncharted 2 made the list? I mean come on, iI know it's great in every area but it's story is average, the pacing was good yes but story...nah it was just ok.

No not Red dead Redemption the whole story was rubbish and the ending was un satisfying with no pace....Its probably better for a movie ending not a game ending

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit27d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing27d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9227d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
