10TACLE Studios have released a new trailer for Eleveon. The trailer provides a glimpse of the games combat system.
PSU writes: "Haven't heard of the the elvish action-epic Elveon? It would be surprising, with the latest news coming straight from 2006. Additionally, this Unreal Engine 3 powered title was originally scheduled to release only on Xbox 360 and PC, leaving Sony's console in the dust.
Contrary to popular belief, Elveon hasn't been canned. You see, 10TACLE's stock value dropped from nearly 15€ to 2€, causing them to cut 25% of their work force. This staff slimming included 10TACLE Bratislava, the original Elveon development team. As a result, the project's reins have been handed to Climax, developer of such titles Silent Hill Origins and Viva Piñata for Windows.
On their official site's homepage, there is an image of Elveon with the header "New 360/PS3 Project."
Yeah this one had me confused when I saw the gameplay video earlier this week sporting the 360, PC & PS3 as its' platforms.
I remember seeing many a 360 list highlighting this game as an exclusive for the system, so it kinda shocked me when I saw that.
Apart from that I'm still not completely sold on this game nor am I remotely interested at this point.
They've got to dish out some more tech and story info.

i saw a trailer on a PS mag disk, and i was impressed
then i saw gameplay footage, and i was impressed
then i found out it had been cancelled for the PS3, and i was pissed
i was setting myself up to get it on PC, but id rather get it on PS3

even on *the elveon* website PS3 is listed but then further down the page I posted only confirms the PC and 360 version, weird?.
I believe part of it has to with the devs keeping hush for a while. Though they haven't made any official announcements to clear the confusion, I'll re-add it to the PS3 channel for the time being.
Reminded me abit of Jade Empire in terms of gameplay..
The gfxs needs work, but this is a pre alpha build(or so they claim)

Is it an action RPG, an open-world game? The swordplay reminds me of Prince of Persia - a good thing. I wonder if it is like a God of War type action game...
I hope this makes it out this year. This one is worth looking forward too. Too Human just continues to SUCK everytime I see it, but I think this could take it's place as being the action rpg game to look for!
The animations aren't that great and it still needs some more polish. But it's looking good enough that I'd check it out even in its current condition.
Of course I've seen Too Human lately. And yes, it still reeks of major suckage. The combat in Too Human still looks below average. The animation sucks in that game as well. And for all the hype the graphics are still below average. I think it might have an interesting story... but I don't want to have to put up with playing the game to find out! There are some cool elements to the game... if the combat didn't look so lame, I'd be interested in the rpg-like customization options. But for the most part, Too Human looks too lame!
I agree with you, although the game looks good no question about it, but the animation system is a bit too awkward, I mean Baldur will just slide down the stairs, like it doesn't give the feel that the floor has any ups and downs. Similarly all the character movements are too jerky to say the least. My last grief with this game is that the combat animation just doesn't seem right. I mean you don't get a feel that your sword is touching the enemy.
Back in 2005 we were treated to some early video and screens of an upcoming title for the PC and XBOX 360 called Elveon. In development from 10TACLE Studios, Elveon is a fantasy-action title built on the Unreal 3 Engine. At the time it was first revealed, the title showed great promise. Since then, information about the game has simply dried up.
The question is, what happened to this promising game? Has it been canceled? A quick scan of 10TACLE Studios website will find a link to Elveon, but no new information has been added for several months. Has the project simply gone dark, or can we expect a release sometime this year?

they said it would be on nexgen consoles. Im pretty sure they wasn't talking about the nintendo wii.
yep, another nice game for the ps3. but i would prefer gothic 3 on ps3.
