I hate Ubisoft in general, but I think that Kinect and Move will fail so hard...

he doesn't say they wil fail in the article, he say: they won't extend the lifetime of the comsoles.

I think Playstation Move and Kinect will be successful, but not as successful as the 3DS.

What trash, 3ds so far seems to be failing. Kinect fails to pick up anyone most of the time and move is running pretty well.

Wii plus fail to be market by anything outside of nintendo, but move has it build in and uses the cam to track body to.

Plus people fail to see how long sony has been working on move, about 2001 to now.

I don't think either will "fail", but nor will they explode onto the scene like the second coming (but has anybody suggested they will?).

Of course, modern thinking seems to have some people defining 'failure' as not being in everyone's living room by the end of the first week of release, which is rather sad.

Can' t remember any GREAT games or masterpieces from Ubisoft this gen.

I just remember a lot of stuff from them that could have been a lot better.

I think they should talk about their failures before making certain statements.

If the Wii can sell big why can't something just like it that actually works and is accurate sell big? I think move will do fine.

Why dont Ubisoft stop making junk and get to work on the next Rainbow Six game. Mr.T should pity you Ubisoft.

Kinect will fail. Move will fail, but it's gonna be much bigger than Kinect because it's similiar to wiimote and is a little cheaper.

The 3DS will indeed rule the future. Sony's next PSP and whatever apple is cooking is doomed to fail. They should learn by now that trying to compete against nintendo is a waste of time.

Coming from the guys who brought lame ass laser tag to their E3 presser. You should just be quiet for the rest of the year and just let your software do the talking for you.

Slight interest in Motion because it plays REAL games.

Neither is a buy for me this year....we will see about Motion next year and as the needed price drop for Kin

Why would Ubisoft come out with something like this when they are making games for Kinect and Move ? I don't believe it at all.

When they have what looks like a stoned out dude at E3 working on a Wii Sensor clone that even Nintendo slowly backed away from. Oh, and how can we forget the Laser Tag system that no one is going to buy.

Has Wii failed??? No, it has became a huge success.

What makes ubisoft think that these accessories will fail when a system based wholly on this kind of thing succeeded.

I think ubisoft is just pissed that their games don't sell well on the Wii so they made the conclusion that motion controlls suck.

Ubisoft, it's time to pull your head out of your ass.

Even though I'm buying all of these games (I haven't played anything for almost 1 and a half years apart from Driver 1) I might possibly only buy one PS-Move game, and that's Ape Escape 4.

My late 2011/ mid 2012 game list right now is just FFvs13 and Kojimas secret game, I hope the secret game is MGS6 (MGS:PW is 5) or ZOE3.

Funny how ubi has a Kinect game coming out, seeing as how they think it will fail.

They're making Kinect games, and are probably working on 3DS shovelware as we speak, and all of a sudden their flip-flopping matters? XD

First of all Ubisoft stop looking for attention. Secondly, if you think I am going to be staring straight ahead at a tiny screen for hours just to get the illusion of 3D to make my self blind or cross eyed,then i think you should go lie down and take a nap. You definately need it.

As for the Move and Kinect...eh. Mid-Life peripherals. They rarely do well. If these do...great, I don't really care either way.

Personally i think the 3DS will fail...i can see nintendo pricing it too high like around £200 due to no other portable 3d on the market.....comming from ubisoft isn't saying much there biggest franchise is AC and all there other games are not AAA quality....they have turned into what EA were like a couple of years ago producing ok games with bugs

Kinect who knows what's gonna happen. They really havnt shown as NOTHING. Move at the other hand, idk how it's going to fail. If the terrible wii didn't fail srry idk how move is gonna. Sony with the ps move is going to offer the FULL motion experience with real graphics and Accuracy.

I know MOVE will be a big success and matter of time people will see that and it will increase the ps3 sales, TIME WILL TELL THE TALE, mark my words.

The title is misleading; I think someone above already said this - the guy in the article is just saying that these devices will not change the PS3 and 360's core audience and will not extend the life of the consoles.

I seriously doubt someone from Ubisoft would say what the title suggests since they are designing games for both devices.

...when you have a key title in your quarterly lineup specialized for the PlayStation Move (RUSE).

I've played with the Kinect, and I can see how it could be perceived as a waining product. It really isn't that much better than the PS2's eyeToy (at least the software isn't compelling enough at this point).

I've also played with the Move and I'm a believer. Not being a huge fan of Motion Control in general, I was floored to see my actions mirrored in the game world. Everything made sense and there wasn't this awkward learning curve that exist in even the finest Wii games (arbitrary waggles/shakes in order to do simple in-game maneuvers).

I know how to throw a Frisbee, so Frolf in Sports Champions made complete sense and my real-world actions/gestures were mirrored in-game.

I know how to play Table Tennis, similarly in Sports Champions...it made sense, incredibly intuitive.

While I've never shot from a real Bow, the Move is so intuitive and natural that it's hard to feel like there's any "challenge" with learning the new control style.

Start the Party was amazing as well. It's fun to see yourself wielding some odd device as if it existed in your real world, responding as it should.

Kinect failure yes but it depends on how much is microsoft willing to pay to HYPE it.(doomed to fail no matter what)

MOVE is the best motion control device ever made & its success depends on the games & from what we can see SONY is taking it seriously. ;)

LOL I dont play DS games period .

3DS will probably cost $220+ and games for it are mostly remakes. 3D with no glasses is kind of w/e. 3D is not real 3D just a 2D picture with some parts of that 2D picture popping out a lil. I'm waiting for PSP 2 as I think it'll have better graphics and more core games.

PS Move should be successful as they have many support from core gamers. Wish they added six axis to the nav controller though.

I am NOT paying $250 for PSP graphics on a tiny 3D screen that gives me headaches after 15 minutes.

Does this guy seriously think that all the little devs that make DS games for < $1M are all suddenly going to leap into the big leagues and make $5M 3DS games, with money that appeared from thin air? Does he have a clue as to the real reason why there are so many more DS games than PSP games?

If the 3DS is priced decently low enough (say < $210), it'll sell, sure, because it plays DS games, NOT 3DS games. The future of the industry. Lol. Whatever.

I don't know about Kinect but Move will definitely be a hit...mark my words...

I think Kinect and Move are going to make people wonder why they would buy an outdated Wii and at the same time people that love the motion controls on the Wii will start looking elsewhere with Kinect and Move.

I am looking forward to what Kinect brings to the table. It is something totally different and immersive and that can't be a bad thing if the game is done right. The Kinect hardware is there, it's just up to the studios whether they bring the games people want to play that will determine it's fate. Look at how old and dated that 99% of every Wii game looks, but they still sell (shovel-ware I know) but people like to interact with the games in a way that you can't on the 360 and PS3.

I will be getting both the Move and 3DS :)

Who the hell will care about HD motion when they are about to get 3d video gaming on the go with gamecube level graphics. You'd be stupid not to get excited.
