1UP: I had to do a double take when I saw that BioWare had announced Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 today. The announcement was a surprise, to say the least, though I guess I should have seen it coming given that Dragon Age is being developed there as well. The move raises a few questions though.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

"The announcement was a surprise, to say the least"
Huh? Hmmm.... NO!!
Tasty damage control yum yum, mass effect 2 and uncharted 2 on the same system delicious.
I've already played ME1 and 2 - and I think an interactive story recap would be fine for PS3 owners.
If they can get the file transfer thing working then fair enough - but if someone had played ME1 on PC or 360, why would they wait to play 2 on PS3???
