I love how when RE4 was released no one complained about Leon killing Hispanics

I think people are confusing racism with sterotyping, which happens very often. What is sterotypical in this case was the fact the Africans were all depicted as living in 3rd world tribal like huts, which is an image of Africa people need to get rid of. That doesnt make the game racist because there is no advocation of a race being treated as superior or a race being treated as inferior.

In other words: Saying black people love fried chicken and watermelon=sterotyping. Saying Black people are an inferior race=Racism. None of that takes place in RE5. Dont even know why im defending it. Game is terrible lol.

but regarding RE5 and it's racism? What racism? Many people have a point countering it with RE4's use of Hispanics being part of the cult you encounter/fought with no complaints. There was nothing wrong with RE5 (Except for how much the franchise has changed with it). Just the sensitive people calling out "OMG RACISM!"

i am black and i had no problem with Resident Evil 5 untill the part i reached the Tribe village of the game in which i was starting to question myself. but still it did not bother me i still enjoyed the game.

dont follow RE4 sucess by copying/pasting a concept cause that wont be sucefull of course...gotta be creative.

in Africa there are black people. So there where enemies who is black. In RE4 there was a Spanish people and we killed that Spanish zombies and they were never complain about that. Do you know what? The most important think that Capcom needs to know is RE5 is a very bad game if we compare it with a original Resident Evil 1, 2 , 3 also Code Veronica or a RE1 Gamecube Remake and RE Zero. I didnt feel fear or a feel to survive horror. The game past completly light area. And the most important thing i didn't feel horror because i was not alone that stupid sheva alomar was there and always killing who is trying to attack me. The game missed horror title, survival title... and more. the game missed its orginal soul.. we missed mikami san.. Dead Space did it very well. but for me RE5 was a CRAP Game...

they should learn too make better games then worrying bout how sensitive people are.

As a african-american the whole racist thing was lame and stupid and might have stared from someone who doesn't even know anything about the game or the series. As I played the game I never though racism. Not to meant people complaining Chris was on steriods (I liked his bigger design better then his bland skinny design anyway.)

RE5 was one of the best selling games of last year (look it up). Obviously not "everyone went mental". For every N'Gai Croal that had a problem with it, 1000 others said "wtf is an N'Gai Croal" and bought the game anyways.

Racism exists everywhere around the world and it sure the hell isn't isolated to only white people. If anything, white people are the least racist because they are always so scared of stepping on other races toes. There are always people at work who speak a different language gossiping and mocking others right in front of them because they can't understand their language, and treating them like shit because they aren't "one of them". Hell, my girlfriend works with a bunch of Koreans who boss her around and treat her like absolute shit and never talk to her at all unless they are forcing her to do something, then laugh about it in Korean 2 seconds later with all their Korean buddies.

The game Resident Evil 5 was situated in AFRICA. Africa population majority is black. How is that even a racist thing having to fight them? Resident Evil 4 had full of spanish people in. I didnt hear or read anyone mention it was racist game. To this day in this world I am sick and tired of hearing people jumping on that tired old crusty wagon on about racist shit. Pointing the finger, trying to find every possible way to make something look racist when its something remotely to do with the black community/race.

I just played Kane and Lynch 2. In this game you shoot just chinese people. I wonder if we ever see or hear about that game being racist.

I'm pretty sure the reason the game didn't do as well as THEY expected, was due to the crappy controls. That's what I've read at least... (I never got a chance to pick up the game).

Re5 getting a remake is still...gunna be a tough one lol. I do still want that and 6 remade. Well, 6 needs a reimagining more like and I believe the current Capcom can make it into a great game.
