EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The free-to-play reboot topped 15 million players in under three weeks, but EA now claims it needs to reshape the development team.

Will it be an other modern military shooter, or something in future? Will they try something new and break away from the shooter genre all together? Probably not. This is basically Infinity Ward at EA, they'll do a shooter.
Can't see EA getting excited about anything other than a shooter TBH...
i love stealth game
so i hope for a tps stealth game a new ip stealth
well, ea had starbreeze doing a bourne game until they canned it in favour of letting starbreeze concentrating on their new ip. i could see respawn doing the bourne game instead, after all, ea surely doesn't want to waste the license they obtained on the bourne ip.
should be FPS because EA needs to counter COD games & if they stand a chance to do it it will have to be made by the orig COD guys aka Respawn.
