Examiner.com’s Raymond Herrera reviews the latest RPG for the Sony PSP to come from publisher XSEED Games thanks to the partnership with Falcom, Ys: SEVEN, which was developed specifically for the handheld.
"Ys series hero, Adol Christin, returns in this PSP RPG, thanks to a partnership between Japanese developer Falcom and publisher XSEED Games, developed specifically for the handheld bringing a few changes to the series and a lot of classic RPG genre goodness.
Ys: SEVEN offers a great adventure for fans of the series and RPG fans looking for something with a little bit of a challenge and plenty of monster slaying goodness that can be wrapped up in under 25 hours on a handheld."

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu features a four-page interview with Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo on the company’s 45th anniversary, which it celebrated this week. Kondo discusses the Trails series, Kyoto Xanadu, Ys series, and Dragon Slayer Project.

Falcom has announced Dragon Slayer Project, its tentatively titled 45th anniversary project for console. A genre, specific platforms, and a release date were not announced.
Yes! I wonder what it will play like. This is where Trails originates from a long time ago. Super interested
The first paragraph reads, "Falcom has announced Dragon Slayer Project, its tentatively titled 45th anniversary project for console.", and then, "A genre, specific platforms, and a release date were not announced." There's no mention of platforms on the official website, either. In fact, there's no information on the website at all.
I don't know... I'm getting a faint smell of gacha. Or maybe one of those multimedia projects that includes a gacha game.

Falcom is looking into speeding up the process of localization for its games with the aid of AI translation alongside human correction.
I think it would be good to spend up localisation. If most of it done themselves then if Falcom people have some people that are good at English they can correct some errors in it quickly. Despite the concern of western localisers potentially losing their jobs which Trails localisation was really good at XSeed years ago.
