GameSpot writes: "Lets face it, every game developer and their dog has an MMO project in the works, or at the very least an idea for one kicking around in their collective consciousness. Theyre a dime a dozen already, but as World of Warcraft has proven, if you can nail the formula, you can name your price. At Gamescom 2010 we got a fresh look at Guild Wars 2, a game that hopes to cast off many of the legacy encumbrances of its competition by building an MMO experience with significantly more personality, and one that encourages true social play".
Whether you're jumping in for the first time and playing for free or adventuring in our recently launched sixth expansion, Visions of Eternity, the best time to play Guild Wars 2 is now! Join the millions of players in Tyria and experience the friendliest MMO community firsthand.
A legendary adventure on the island of Castora awaits.
Who else but me posts GW2 updates 😎 One of the few companies I support, for over 20yrs.
New elite specializations and a fresh adventure on the magical and never-before-seen island of Castora - The sixth expansion launches on October 28!
.....until NOW!
Those Gamescom videos were impressive and the idea behind the World vs World PvP reminds me a hint of the best PvP system to date, DAoC RvR. Just a hint, i say!...at least its 3 different teams!(tho all the same races/classes)
Why did it take so long for a developer to see gamers like a little ménage à trois in their pvp? :)
