mass effect was published Microsoft game studios for 360,and then a year later EA published for pc,so therefore it was a timed exclusive for 360. it was never an exclusive title so i don't see why not it can come to ps3

All Bioware/EA needs to do is slap a subtitle on Mass Effect and that's that. Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2 were MS published. Strange how both are on the PS3.

I am a Mass Effect fan and I say that everyone should be able to see how great this game really is. I believe that 360 Only users need to experience inFamous just as well. Third party developers like Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Remedy, Naughty Dog, Epic and Bungie need the world to see what great games they make and not be stifled to one console.

ps3 fanboys don't want this game at all. They feel it's some type of victory that they got one of the 360 exclusives with no intention of buying.

Why do you sony kids think us MS people care so much. We are use to a lot of exclusives leaving and are not "Butt hurt", "Angry" or anything else. It has become the norm for us. We don't care because we still get to play it. And the only people I see mad here are the people who are trying to get some sort of rise out xbox gamers over this.

Really... a lot if not all of us DO NOT care. Have fun with mass effect 2 and eventually 3. You will finally see why it is a good game. And isn't like my mass effect 2 sitting in my man cave is going to be magically affected in a negative way by it's port to the ps3. ..they always take it from the opposite perspective then what it's intended for. It's like when the new PSP Go was launched, people were taking from the perspective of the current owners of a PSP. When in reality it's about the people who haven't experienced the product for any such reason.

So it's irrelevant to take it from the perspective from a XBOX 360 / PC owner, because they already have the game for their platform.

As an owner of both 360 and PS3 I will continue to play the Mass Effect series on 360. But I'm glad it is going to the PS3 so those people who only have a ps3 can see what an awesome game it is.

Incidents like this should give Microsoft a hint that 1st party exclusives are important.
Sony & Nintendo already got the idea a very long time ago that exclusives are important still Microsoft hasn't gotten that memo yet.
The only way now 3rd party games will ever get any type of exclusive is if either Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo pays those developers to make an exclusive.

The only thing this transition seems to prove, is that ps3 only owners, don't game on pc, considering most will be buying this for the ps3. There's nothing wrong with that but when this game was only on xbox and pc most were claiming they would be playing it on pc. I just find it funny.

I only have a PS3, and it really doesn't matter to me that I will jump into ME2 without having played the first one. I hear it is a great game, and a great game is still fun, even if it is a sequel to a game you never played before.

@mbmanhattan: You must be on drugs or something. The PS3 has "THE" game comming out in Nov.2 Gran Turismo 5, in which last I check is an even bigger franchise then Halo and Fable combined. Not to mention the PS3 also have Dc Universe Online and Little Big Planet 2 before the year is out. Uncharted 2? Uncharted 2 is the highest rated exclusive game this gen between the PS3 and 360. So there is nothing you can say about Uncharted 2, it just makes you look foolish trying to even say anything about it.

I say this is why 360 fans shouldn't even care...BioWare are good developers...they will most likely have the choices you made in 1 pan out all the way into 3...PS3 gamers will just ultimately have to miss out on that...sorry guys
