The graphics are good, I like the weapon setup better than GTA, but what will make or break this game is the storyline. GTA has always had fun storylines with interesting characters. If it's thin on story and I'm just supposed to run around and play the little missions, I'm out.

this game looks fun but it all looks like a giant gap commercial on steroids. you roll with a gang in purple and hang out at a frikin church its a bit fruity in my poinion. the new gta will definantly be better. and why did they slack of on the al dude thats the point of next gen. i havent played this but it looks fun enough to hold peepl of until a good game actualy comes out . i guess at least they tried better than most games out now for 360

This game will be alot of fun online.

The physics is what really drives this game and also the visuals. Throw a pipe bomb into a car and watch it blow into a million pieces with each piece having it's own vector. If a piece hits you, you will move according to the weight of the object. (A flaming bumper will send you flying and on fire, a wheel cap will simply nudge you or maybe knock you down)

i wonder if the character we create will actually even speak on the original game?? as i remember how stupid it looked on GTA 3, the ''mute'' guy called by CJ on GTA SA. it would be a great letdown, as they could have added something like in def jam, that u can choose your dudes voice...this is next gen!!! wtf...

OR may be let us read put some sentences so that it can modulate and create a voice like ours...and when the camera comes we can take our snaps and create a character that looks exactly like us ....

Im a fan of the GTA series, but this game is much better so far. From the graphics to the gameplay. I didnt care too much for San Andreas, Vice City was a better game. I wouldnt worry so much about wasting the time and effort to create your own voice because that could take away from putting in the time for perfecting the graphics or gameplay. Its an idea though, but I think adding in some game elements like your character can get high or drunk would be kinda funny. Maybe give him a drunk meter, have your character get a drunk in public ticket and taken to jail. Looks to be shaping up as a great game nonetheless.

Just mostly cars and thats it and those contruction vehicles and not motorcycles no aircrafts in the game no Jets only a police helicopter only one police helicopter anyway
and the online would probably play like 25 to life

so if this is going to be the "Next Gen" I would expect more vehicles and one police Helicopter and more flying aircrafts I'mean currently I have the "Demo!" of this game the disc and its good and all but its going to lack about pretty much of everything I said above this 2nd paragraphe that I'm typing right now.

what gave it away?

Once they got off the streets and went to hell is was GG. If they just polished the games more and gave them SOME seriousness, they could have been sick. Falling through the floor, walking in the sky, and punching people and them flying into the aether could only happen so many times. Only games with more glitches is ANYTHING from Bethesda.

Thats fine. Its a lot better off that way otherwise we get disappointments like SR reboot and idk the many other constant sequels that were unnecessary.

This is what happens when no clue CEOs put market researchers in control over people who actually make games. Same with movies and music, they sterilise everything to chase the maximum appeal and end up boring everyone.

The last release was…. Not good. Felt like a game directed by marketing analytics.

I don't have high hopes for this, no one should trust Volition after what they did to the series with the reboot.

It's been apart of ps+ and I think epic games for free in the past it maybe a 3rd personally open world crime type game. But it ain't no rival to GTA lol.
