I should just go out and buy a 360 now because the PS3 is to incredibility to insane!!!!!

to much to play, to much great games, not enough time... I wish I was a little kid again so I can just play every game all day everyday!

btw I was kidding about buying a 360.. why do you need a 360 when the PS3 can do everything?

talltony5761d ago

I still have my 360 for reach and gears 3.

SeanRL5761d ago (Edited 5761d ago )

I just don't think the 360 is worth the investment right now, too many good games coming on ps3. Especially now that one of xbox's greatest games is now coming to ps3.

@talltony: Of course, if you have an xbox currently then keep it for Halo: reach. I just meant for people who are considering buying one.

nagato4life5761d ago (Edited 5761d ago )

@talltony...havent heard that one before lol

talltony5761d ago

I just mean I will not get rid of it because of reach and gears 3. But of course i realize the ps3 is completely dominating now.

sikbeta5761d ago

The Best thing for PS3 Gamers is that the Library of Games keeps getting bigger and bigger, ME2 + R3 + R&C:A4One are added to the List of Games for PS3, damn, I can't wait for TGS...

table5761d ago

I finally took the dive and bought a 360 last week

This week, Mass Effect is coming to PS3, Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 trailers come out and LBP2 gets shown

Thank God Reach is releasing when it is or I'd have to skip it to save up for Move, Killzone, Resistance, and LBP

Personally, Killzone 3 is the thing I am most hyped about. I WANT

badz1495761d ago

so much to spend for these awesome games! she's gonna be really really mad! my wife I mean! (-_-!)

I hope RE3 is better than 2, 2 sucked @ss part 1 rocked

dinkeldinkse5761d ago

By no means do I think that R2 sucked ass. I just hope R3 includes the best things from the first two.

CaptainKratos5761d ago

i had a blast playing resistance 2 :( now im ready for 3!!!!!!!

strickers5761d ago

I agree with that single player. The co op was great if you had a few of you though.

jonboi245761d ago (Edited 5761d ago )

Seriously there 2011 line up is insane. There are going balls out now that there so much closer to outselling the 360 world wide. This line up is insane:

Ratchet and Clank All 4 One
Killzone 3
Resistance 3
Motorstorm Apocalypse
Soccom 4
Infamous 2
Final Fantasy 14
Twisted Metal
Mass Effect 2
White Knight Chronicles 2 *not confirmed but earliest in NA I believe spring 11
The Last Guardian *not confirmed though would be shocked if it come this year
Agent *not confirmed but chances are around fall 11 to spring 12

I may have missed some stuff but come on that is a vicious line up and TGS is coming up so add probably a new Disgea game, brand new Tales of.. (thought world wide release is looking iffy right now), and some new JRPGS (come on Legend of Dragoon 2). All this after the madness that GT5 will bring over the holidays, if the world truly ends in 2012 then Sony is going out with a big bang. And if Uncharted 3 is announced than Sony is going to destroy. Sony may overcome the gap and outsell 360 world wide by next year.

blasian5761d ago

FFV13 and Agency. FFV13 might make 2011 but im not sure about Agency.

talltony5761d ago

I will be broke. Add some great multiplats like dead space 2 and rage and I will be poor come next year.

lh_swe5761d ago

I thought this year would be hard to beat but it looks like gaming is just getting exponentially better, any more announcements and I will get a heart attack and die from excitement.

This is not good...How am I ever going to have a life and play these games...How can I choose which one to buy and which one to put on hold?

GeoramA5761d ago

I feel blessed as a PS3 owner right now.

All the greatest exclusives, plus the best third-party games.

Sevir045760d ago

ALFAxD_CENTAURO5761d ago (Edited 5761d ago )

Sony had the best Conference at GC.

Now TGS is coming, Sony will deliver more AAA Exclusives to be announced, more Services and surprises.

IneedWeed5761d ago

Yeah Sony killed it at GamesCon, wonder what they going to do at TGS to bring another good press conference. Maybe they'll announce SC II coming to PS3 w/ Move Suppot or maybe they'll announce Gears of War 3 coming to PS3 lol.

KratosGod35761d ago

Lol.Lol. IneedWeed
That was a good one!!!

Looks like PlayStation took a hit with Marathon and is now quietly adjusting prices worldwide to recover the losses

andy8528d ago

Lets be honest raising prices doesn't do that when no one's buying it. I imagine the profit it greater selling 10 times more at a lower price

Pergele28d ago

Whatever you say buddy, let's all wear the tinfoil hats.

IceKoldKilla28d ago (Edited 28d ago )

LMFAO Your comment alone says a lot more about you than anything else. When has one game not selling 10 million copies made a company raise the prices of their console? Then Xbox would be costing $5000 by now lol. You remind of the crazy drug addicts on the street rambling on about conspiracies. xD You sure you don't need a hug, buddy?

ChunkyMonk28d ago

One game that Sony payed $200 million for. lol
Also, you sure were quick to get triggered. Maybe your the one who needs a hug?

Eonjay28d ago

If nothing else, we should be united against the real issue here. AI and unnecessary tariffs that are effecting all gamers.

Athlon10129d ago (Edited 29d ago )

The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

S2Killinit28d ago

Its not the war. Its the RAM issue.

jznrpg28d ago

War is causing gas prices to rise. Transport of everything requires gas so the prices of those items go up as well. So it does have an impact

Athlon10128d ago (Edited 28d ago )

The blockage of the Straight of Hormuz due to the US-Iran war has affected raw components used in semi-conductor manufacturing such as bromine, aluminum, and helium. Iran had attacked the liquified natural gas (LNG) plant in Qatar which is a large producer (1/3 globally) of helium which is used in semiconductor etching. So it's the both the war and the RAM crises.

badz14928d ago

Oh no...should I get the Pro now before the price increase?

I dont think that'll ever happen. But i must say back in the day, they were definitely trying because they were more cash rich than their competitors.

CosmicTurtle41d ago

I think MS were and still are the richer company. They tried to acquire Sega back in the day (and considered doing so again more recently), they obviously bought exclusivity to Halo which was originally shown as a Mac title. I don’t think as a company MS can claim the moral high ground here. It’s a wilful lack of self awareness.

Of course Sony would try exactly the same if they had the resources, but when the PS2 dominated the industry was in a much healthier place with an abundance of great third parties.

This has been a depressing generation as far as first party decisions are concerned. The fact we are debating business plans rather than which game is better is a sad reflection of the state of things.

Darkseeker42d ago (Edited 42d ago )

There was Nintendo as well, Sony wouldn't have had a monopoly. In fact, the world would be better today if Xbox never existed in the first place. They pretty much brought all bad practices we have today. We might have gotten all of it either way, but not this early. In term of franchises, I don't think there is anything Microsoft released that would actually be missed if it didn't exist. Even Halo the world wouldn't notice if Halo didn't exist.

S2Killinit41d ago

MS was definitely a bad influence on gaming.

raWfodog42d ago

I think almost everyone will agree that a monopoly is not good for the industry. But that being said, the competition needs to be smart and strategic with their business. Simply buying up publishers and traditional third-party studios just to keep them out of the other companies reach is not a sustainable practice. That goes for all parties so don't think I'm just referring to Xbox.

I'm no business guru by any stretch of the imagination but I firmly believe that the best way to drive consumers to your software and hardware is to invest smart in your first-party studios. Give them full support and guidance in making unique, fun games that are only available to play in your ecosystem and the gamers will come.

Reaper22_41d ago (Edited 41d ago )

But first party studios aren't enough. They only make up a small portion of the industry. Without 3rd party there would be no industry for Microsoft or sony.Developing games take time and money and sometimes you gotta make moves to stay competitive.

raWfodog41d ago

Nah, I never said first-party was enough. I said it’s the ‘best way’ to drive gamers to your platform. 3rd-party is a free-for-all and there’s no guarantee that gamers will use your hardware to play the game. If you want to push your own software and/or hardware you need first-party, or at least exclusive deals with third-party studios.

SimpleDad42d ago

They Shure did a great job... 25 years later Xbox is dead.

Reaper22_41d ago

Then why be so emotional and continue to talk about it. Xbox will never die be ause it stays in so many people's head.

lodossrage41d ago

How can you even see him being "emotional" in that comment?

If anything, you're the emotional one, constantly trying to go at anyone that says anything against Microsoft. So when you call him emotional, it comes off as deflection

Elda41d ago

I own an XBSX & I can say it's becoming irrelevant out of the 3 current consoles.
