For retro fans, the Virtual Console is one of the best reasons to own a Wii, at least until recently. For whatever reason, Nintendo and third parties haven’t released many games for the service, and most weeks have no games at all. It’s a bit premature to call it dead, but there’s definitely a problem.
On that note, Virtual Console still has tremendous potential, especially if Nintendo adds these six old school hits.

Insider NateTheHate confirms a new Star Fox announcement is slated for April via Nintendo Today, authenticating recent reports and rumors.

Nintendo is planning to revive Star Fox with a new game this summer according to an insider, alongside Pikmin 4: Switch 2 Edition and Splatoon Raiders.
Nate the Hate dropping bombs. He shot his recent video this past Wednesday and Nintendo teases Star Fox in Galaxy soon after. At this point hes the source of the leaks. He's an Nintendo employee working psy ops for them. 😆
All I ask for is plenty of content/stages and a good challenge, if it's a cakewalk I would be disappointed.
I really want a sequel to Star Fox Adventures, but a classic-style Star Fox is also welcome.
Hopefully it's a classic Star Fox like the original but of course with better graphics & a bigger game.

Dash Rendar, Prince Xizor, the Battle of Hoth, and one of the boldest Star Wars multimedia projects ever made. Here’s why Shadows of the Empire still matters.
This game along with Rogue Squadron got me into to Star Wars. The release of special edition VHS Star Wars collection was perfectly times on top of all that. 😆
But it wasn't. Although I do agree that some of the tie-in media, like the novels and comics, were pretty good.
Still, games like Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Rogue Squadron, and the space sims were peak 90s Star Wars. Shadows fell flat because of the abysmal controls and unimaginative levels. And if you wanted to really experience the seedy side of the universe, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 was peak, and it wasn't even close.
Regardless, and much to my dismay, we got the better version thanks to Ubislop in Outlaws, which is what Shadows should've been, albeit at a smaller scale.
Would kill for Yoshi's Island.
Star Fox just makes sense. Not sure what's holding that up. The way Nintendo's been acting, we may never see it at all.
Yeah, go figure, they prefer to pimp out StarFox 64...not a bad idea, but still.
Killer Instinct Gold for me :)
However, since this is a RARE title, I would prefer to see a remake on XBLA with a high def upgrade and achievements.
Nothing can save VC. It did well while it was new and people were still exited but now people figured that they can play those same games for free without being limited to what Nintendo gives them.
*Or rather it would be hard to save it at this point
