IGN writes: "You may not have noticed while playing Bethesda's Fallout or Elder Scrolls titles over the years, but none of the games from those series include ladders as a means of getting to higher places.
Bethesda Game Director Todd Howard admitting during a panel at Quakecon today that one of the gameplay features the studio continues to cut game after game is the inclusion of ladders for players to climb."

Todd Howard opens up on Starfield's hard development, confirms Bethesda is targeting wider hardware scalability for TES VI and future games.
If you're looking for any meaty Elder Scrolls 6 updates from Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard, listen for the Creation Engine 3 stuff.
"So we started with [the idea] that you want to be in your spaceship and to fly around a planet or fly smoothly over to that moon or whatever, right? It started there, then we're going to have this mode where you're going to go fast.’ Then it was, 'Well that needs to have some gameplay, what would players expect?' And that's where we got into all of the systems that Free Lanes has."
It's definitely a step in the right direction and I hope they keep improving on it. But honestly, that's the very least that should have been in the game from the start. He's saying it like they had an 'idea' that people would want to actually fly their ship around. That should have been obvious already from games like No Man's Sky and Elite Dangerous.

A remaster of Bethesda Game Studios' 2008 action role-playing game, Fallout 3, is planned for release at some point in the future.
Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.
Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.
Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.
To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.
Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too
Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.
My 350+ hours invested into fallout 3 would just like to say....
F*CK LADDERS! Gimme stairs and more power armor!
Edit: Jet packs work too. Anyways, looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas, even if the engine looks and runs the exact same.
Ramps and elevators seem to be working perfectly fine for me. Screw ladders, I would trade in the use of ladders in game for a game like fallout any day.
Sounds like they need a new game engine (id Tech 5???).
I understand it's a game but in reality ladders aren't that common. I don't remember the last time I actually saw one.
u cant skate on ladders .... ramps FTW
