i LOVED UL1
i expect the same with this

I sooo wanted to really love the first game, but it was just too broken. Major gripe was the inability to lock-on to enemies when using force powers. It' good to see that this has been fixed for teh sequel. I'm definately picking this one up!

hmmm.. migh hunt down a cheap copy of the Sith Edition of the first game!

Game looks alright but nowhere near my expectations. It's just too much of the same with a "few extra tools". The Force fury is too similar to Rage of the Titans from God of War. We've seen too many games trying to replicate that model that GoW was - Wolverine Origins, TFU1 - the whole one guy running around killing things with heavy and light attack combos, but with different skins.

Maybe I'm pessimistic but this game has to do a lot if it wants redemption. Hayden Blackman leaving Lucas Arts wasn't a good sign. Game might be okay but unless it reaches the level of what KotoR was or beyond, then I can't consider it a 'true' Star Wars game.

Top 10 Worst Video Game Sequels

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "A while ago we counted down the very best video game sequels of all time and so we decided to flip the table and look at the very worst sequels ever made. Now we’re not specifically looking at bad sequels to bad games, that would be boring, instead we’re looking at sequels that took what was present in a good game and completely wrecked it. These 10 games started out by building up our hype to extreme levels only to shatter our dreams and break out hearts once we got our hands on them and so we’re calling these out as the worst sequels ever made."

Dragon age 2 was not a bad game, just a terrible sequel if that makes any sense. Should have been it's own IP.

I loved Dragon Age II. I even got the platinum trophy for it. That was the very first medieval themed fantasy RPG that I enjoyed aside from an Ultima game I played in the early 90's at a cousins house.

Fist4achin2993d ago

Not that it was a bad game, just not a fair successor to DAO.

NapalmSanctuary2994d ago

Surely Twisted Metal 3&4 have earned a place on this list.

Lord of Shadows 2 was one that left me scratching my head because I loved the first one! Red Faction Armageddon was another one that I still wonder why they didn't just give us something more like Guerrilla.
