In a new Guild Wars 2 design manifesto blog, Pat Cavit from ArenaNet has posted details about the upcoming GamesCom and PAX events. Those at the events will be able to get their hands on the first public playable version of Guild Wars 2."

I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up
Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

This game is bound to blow people away and unfortunately might hurt SWTOR in the process but from what I have seen and read they are down to reform the whole MMO genre and if people like it all other games in that genre will feel the pain.
