As Jim, an FBI-type dude, the player has the ability to hack into human minds. With a button tap you can leave Jim's body and float around as a “ghost” while AI takes control of Jim so he doesn't just stand there like an idiot getting killed. In order to “possess” an NPC, you'll have to stun them first with a couple of potshots, and then hit them with the Mindslave ability, which turns NPCs into AI-controlled “pets” of yours. You can have up to three of these slaves, and then at any time you can leave your body and take control of a slave.

Mindjack was released in 2011 to negative reviews.
To me, Duke Nukem was playability at least. Most movie games were more intolerable than that.
I remember being really excited for Alien Colonial Marines, until I checked the review scores.....
Still seems like a neat concept [seems like Demon's Souls has caught their attention a bit]. Though from what I've gathered from a trailer on gamespot is that the moment you mindjack what was an NPC citizen. They immediately have a weapon, it just doesn't seem "right" would be nice if they had some stuff laying on the ground like in UC2. Or if you could steal weapons from the enemies rather than having some regular citizen walking around with an rifle.
Sounds like it will be a less entertaining version of Geist. It is also being published by Square-Enix so this has mediocrity written all over it.
I'm keeping an eye on this one. If the single player is good I'll give it a shot.
