Anyone know what happend to those Alan Wake>Uncharted 2 visually articles? I used to see a lot of them then the game released and suddenly no article it's almost as if they hyped the game up but it didn't live upto expectations.

Halo 3 didn't look very good, respective to other AAA titles on the system.

Halo Reach looks good. Respective to games on its system, but not respective to games on other home consoles, and still remains below the very best on it's own system (gears of war).

It was right to not include halo on the list. Alan wake defo not. Bioshock could have been on if the list included older games.

Some maps in Halo Reach MP look several notches better than other maps. For example, Reflection looks very good. It looks better than anything I've seen in Gears 3, and dare I say it, it looks like something from Uncharted 2.

AHH you are as delusional as Serj Tanjain.. Thats why SYSTEM OF A DOWN ( one of my favorite bands broke). HALO REACH looking better than GEARS 3 and UNCHARTED 2?? Thats something I have to see for myself and judge myself. I will be playing Reach for sure and then I would tell. OHH I havent played the beta.

2 out of his 3 games he mentioned are SUB HD.

Halo Reach is Sub HD and so is Alan Wake.
Both of those games are exclusive games that are Sub HD.

Bioshock may have been a technical Marvel of sorts 3 years ago...but as we all know, Tech moves fast, and it is no longer so.

You're joking, right? Alan Wake runs at 960x544 and Halo Reach is still looking to be sub-HD at 1152 x 720 ( http://www.digitalbattle.co... ) and still no AA.

I like Halo Reach but I wouldnt put it there either. Its not exactly a "Graphical Marvel". But it makes up with gameplay, multiplayer and forge. Just because its one of the most played games on 360 it doesnt mean its the best looking one out there

Took a look, Doesn't impress, and Halo Reach hasn't won GOTY. And realistically speaking, No Halo game has ever one GOTY. Go away troll.

MLB 10 The Show is incredible. The most impresive is the late afternoon games. Excellent shading and the player models are outstanding. So many unique stances and pitching styles. Arguably the best sports game made across the board.

FarCry 2 was impressive. Especially for when it came out. I love the effect the wind has on burning grass/plants. The game itself got really repetitive but graphically the game was great.

Games I don't think get enough credit :

Resident Evil 5
Heavenly Sword
Gears of War 2 (Especially considering its release time)
Resistance 1 (Launch Title!)

the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in FC2. It was fantastic to exit a heavily wooded area venture up a hill and catch the Sun breaking the dawn with beautiful life-like colors. Sometimes I would stay and watch the Sun completely rise and think nice freaking job Ubi-Soft.

on PC...at max settings...is 2nd ONLY to Crysis. the game is simply stunning. unfortunately, the game was pretty lousy.

Mafia 2 looks amazing, and I really love the overall feel of it. Seems like you could really get immersed in it's world thanks to the authenticity of it all.

Edit: Exactly! Though some may just be immersing themselves in the virtual playboy magazines....

Actually Mafia 2, on console, or PC. Isn't very impressive. Texture resolutions aren't that high, not too low either, but an area which can be considered really poor is the games poly count, on vehicles and character models. Just really doesn't look up to scratch compared to even RDR/GTA and what we've seen of La Noir.

Fortunately. I'm not the type of person that cares about any of that stuff.
