Basketball? What part of the game was that? I never got to play basketball :/

EDIT: Wow really? lol I played through Heavy Rain 5 times and never knew that hahaah.

gravemaker5763d ago

almost beggining of the game, where mars and his son doing homework and all that stuff
just get out back door)

Christopher5763d ago

Heh. I totally missed the basketball option in this game as well. Go figure. Wonder how much else I missed.

The only problem I have with playing this game again? I'm afraid I would play it the exact same as I did my first time through.

Qui-Gon Jim5763d ago

Some of the best endings are the "bad" ones. The endings change a lot depending on what characters die, get captured, fail to find out who the killer is, etc.

Christopher5763d ago (Edited 5763d ago )

I may have missed a lot, but I feel like I 'completed' the game as intended. I made the right decisions in my play through. I feel that playing through differently will just downplay the overall story, which is why I played it to begin with.

I do love how someone can actually disagree with my statement above. It was an opinion on my own gameplay... and yet someone disagrees with my opinion on how I play without knowing me at all. Good job guys *sighs*

i hope there is a ton of new features otherwise i aint buying the game again

xTruthx5763d ago

I recently played it to see alternative endings and omg.... they where amazing. I was like... WTF!!!!, I though my first ending was great but there was one that was really pro.

Qui-Gon Jim5763d ago (Edited 5763d ago )

My favorite was the one titled "A Mother's Revenge", but the ones for Ethan where nobody succeeds in saving Shaun were really good, too.

Free update? Thank you!

I'm gonna play it again once this comes out.

It's good to hear games can be update with move controls.

Eric Cartman5763d ago

This proves that Move isn't a bad idea for core gamers.

I remember during the PlayStation days some games were re-released with DualShock compatibility.

rekof5763d ago

damn im getting this move dildo as soon as it hits the shelf,..

AliTheBrit195763d ago

Move Edition!?

What the hell? I thought the game was getting an update to make it Move compatible

Seriously? Sony expect you to buy it again?....

Qui-Gon Jim5763d ago (Edited 5763d ago )

Future copies of the game will have that patch on the disc, with "Move Edition" printed on the package and, I'm sure, the Move controls printed in the instruction book.

Eric Cartman5763d ago

You don't even read the article before commencing your lame attempts at trolling.

Bloodyghost5763d ago

I wanted more DLC for this game, to continue the story of the individuals sad that Sonys Marketing got in the way and is forcing them to make a Move Software update.

I mean who would buy it now for Move.

Forbidden_Darkness5763d ago

I am, it's the very reason im waiting to buy it

Please stop comparing video games to movies

"Many video games catch not only great commercial attention but remarkable critical attention as well. We have seen games like Heavy Rain, The Last of Us Part II, and even entries in the Metal Gear series described as fantastic interactive experiences, even heralded in the same way as Hollywood's greatest films.

I would suggest that not only is this an unfair comparison but also a harmful one. Video games, by their very nature, are an intricately different medium and should be weighed against one another rather than another form of media," Phillip writes for GF365.

Yes, please stop. They're better than most hollywood drivel nowadays.

BLAKHOODe2009d ago

I think Hollywood films will becoming increasingly more like video games in the future, especially as the world embraces the "new normal" from the pandemic. It makes sense, as games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales showcase just how realistically we're reaching in graphical capabilities, as well as showcase extreme action sequences in spectacular ways. And as time goes by, it'll get easier and cheaper to produce such "art", as well as create new star "actors" that never age, never die, never complain, never gets involved in scandals, etc. Technology is amazing and we're only just getting a taste of what it'll eventually be.

sourOG2009d ago

No. Some games are like movies.

medman2008d ago (Edited 2008d ago )

No. For the money spent, a quality game provides far more entertainment value than a quality movie. Especially when looking at what is going on in the world, and how a studio can attempt to pilfer from consumers by charging 30 dollars for Mulan via streaming. Ridiculous. There is no comparison....games all day.
