XXLGaming writes, "Today, Crave Games released 5 new screenshots and a new Developer Diary for their upcoming game, Man vs Wild which stars Bear Grylls. The game is set to release in November of this year and while some of it looks interesting, we can't help think this may only appeal to fans of the show. And that might be stretching it a little."

AlienLion:
"Previously, we’ve looked at some really pointless celebrity involvements with video games. This time, we’ll do the opposite and put together a list of a few currently famous people, who deserve to have games made about them as soon as possible:"
Super Liam Neeson Galaxy!!!
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have coins. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let Princess Peach go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will jump on your head."

Games that are based on movie or television IPs always get a bad rap. They are known for horrible development, a sophomoric premise, and overall just banal existence. And sure, Man vs Wild may fit into that schema--it's Discovery Communications way to tap into a video game market that they have not reached before. So does Man vs Wild mark a solid venture for Discovery Communications?

GameDynamo - "Thanks to Crave Entertainment and game developer Scientifically Proven, the Discovery Channel’s hit television series Man vs. Wild is brought to us as a video game. Now we are in control, as we move Bear Grylls through this wild game experience."
"I've got 6 gallons of drinkable water to last me a week....
Better drink my own piss first..."

i will play this for the lulz. yea it's a licensed game but the gameplay actually sounds interesting.
...
Bear Grylls puts a lot of dirty things in his mouth.
So do the botters.
The difference is they are on their knees at the time with Greenturd smiling ominously down at them!
Yeah this one will be interesting to watch when it releases and read the reviews and comments. I for one am not looking forward to reviewing it and will definitely be handing it off to one of my editors. :)
